I previously felt the same way because you might as well just play/watch/read the thing. Even if you have a busy schedule, you still have time to read reviews so you might as well just form your own opinion by playing the damn game.

However, I started watching Half in the Bag a few weeks ago and I guess I can understand the appeal. It's like getting a recommendation from a friend, except 50% of the time that friend is wrong in a way that makes you either want to or not want to follow his suggestion.

There are lots of eroge so it's convenient to whittle them down.
