Hey nerds, do you have a strong depression each time you finish your japanese cartoons, or VN, or vidya gaem, or book(like you read books lol) if it were good?i do

>> No.10298216

No. I think, "Boy, that was a good cartoon!" then I move onto the next one.

how can you easily move to the next one if the thing was real good and you were completely immersed? You'll have to at least briefly acknowledge your surroundings before switching to anything else.

My face when I found out Americans cry at the end of films they really enjoyed.

>> No.10298248

Yes.

I'm still not over Manabi Straight ending several millennia ago and if I really like a VN, it hurts to let it go, especially if the ending is sad. Cross Channel, which is my favourite VN, for example, had an ending I liked so much that eventually bought it on a few different formats and read each version. I'm in the middle of reading the PSP version on my Vita now and really wish there was more but at the same time I don't because it's pretty much perfect and complete as it is.

I think I'm gay for Romeo Tanaka.

Why do we get depressed at such times? Everyone else seems to feel pretty good afterward. Is it out of shame at what we've just done or something? I don't consciously feel any shame over my monster girls but maybe I do deep down?

Not him, but I feel similar. For me it's like, the pleasure of masturbation is over in a few seconds. You're having fun rubbing your todger, then you get a little bit bored so you decide, "Now is the time to ejaculate." Then five seconds later, you don't really feel anything but a need to bin those tissues, clean your Onahole, and wipe that stray bit of semen from your keyboard.

After real sex with another human being, you have that nice little moment where you sigh, kiss, and cuddle. With masturbation it's just like, "Oh. That's over now. There goes the highlight of my evening."

They were probably depressive people to begin with, of the type who become anxious every time they enter a state of self-awareness, and aren't happy with themselves.

So when they come down from a high or suspend their escapism, they become keenly aware of themselves and that makes them feel bad.

I haven't finished an anime in over a year. Whenever i get close to finishing them, or finish them i want to kill myself. I get way too depressed and attatched to the characters, I feel the same kind of emotional pain that I do when people I love abandon me. I can't even bear to watch anything anymore, the pain of the show ending or even knowing it's going to end is too much.

>> No.10298310

I feel like this when I play games, yes. I grow an emotional attachment to my character, and it's just so hard to stop playing because of all the work I've put into it. As a result I end up doing a whole lot of nothing in the endgame, because my character is so maxed out there's nothing left to really do.

I'm also kind of autistic and obsessive, so it's hard for me to move onto new things.

I really liked the Star Wars movies and then I heard there were three prequels made recently.

I'm excited to watch them but I don't want to watch them until I'm on my deathbed. I don't want to live too long after the story has ended.

To add to that, I have extreme abandonment issues and am a diagnosed BPD. Whenever I make good friends with someone I really like I have a tendency to detach and push them away, I guess I never realised I do that with anime, tv shows, and movies too. It's like reliving the pain of people leaving you over and over and over, getting attatched to new characters over and over. I never really realised I did the same thing to anime though. Huh.
