I like that they show a picture of the actual item instead of stock pictures and if something is damaged they show a picture of the damage.

Shipping to Europe with registered SAL is around 1500¥ for most stuff. they do have a 500¥ handling fee for orders below 5000¥ though.

You have to understand that Mandarake has a number of locations where the product could be located, they list things online but the itmes are in the store as well so they need to go have someone take it off the shelf, pack it up, and send it to you. So sometimes things are sold in that interim period. That's all I could think of people mean by saying "fuck you around a lot". It really isn't true. I did miss out on that Seira Chaos;Head fig this way.

The shipping fees are not anymore more expensive. Keep in mind that sometimes this stuff is reasonable on Amazon as well, a lot of Kotobukiya stuff for example. I would really just stay the fuck away from Ebay. A good example is Usami Haru who was up there for like 400 to 300 for the longest time, only now is she up for a reasonable amount and it's still less than I paid by keeping and eye on MyFigureCollection.

Most of them will mention "Box damaged", but you don't really have to worry about that, because it usually means something like small wears on the corners and such. When I ordered my Black Hanekawa they mentioned that the box was "severely damaged" so I got it like 2000¥ cheaper. One of the corners was dented.

I just got my Ueda Senjougahara and Hachikuji figures and they look good. I saw a picture of one that looks really bad but mine don't seem to have the same defects. I haven't unboxed them yet I'll throw some pictures in here when I get around to finding my camera.

The number of Nyaruko figures increasing is definitely a good thing, but I haven't really liked any of them that much and this one doesn't quite cut it for me either. None of them have truly captured her demi-retarded charm yet.

Alright, Amazon actually is not bad for certain Kotobukiya figures and since a lot of sellers are fulfilled by Amazon Chuck's Anime Shrine might be a good choice. I got a 1/6 Tomoyo off their and it was cheap and had free shipping. Other than that I'd say stick to Japanese websites. Many Ebay sellers mark up way too high and you'll see quite a few knock offs on there. myfigurecollection.com is a good resource for when things are available certain places cheap. The main thing that is going to kill you is shipping It can be from 15 to 30 dollars and takes a long time if you cheap out.

As far as price that depends on what you want. If you like posable figures you'll pay less, if you like pre-posed larger figures you're gonna pay more. Definitely limit yourself if you're an impulsive person. You'll find it's way too easy to just blow all your money, and the more impulsive you are (not doing monthly shipments, etc) the more you'll lose in shipping.

Senjougahara just looks better and seems more sturdy. She's also the one I saw a picture of with an awful paint job and I'm not sure if it was the camera or some photoshop. Her base is a lot more sturdy than Hachikuji and over all I just like the look of her over all a lot more.

This base however worries the shit out of me. They just have a very brittle feel, bows, ribbons, since everything is either flat or blocky I can see some heartbreak in my future if I'm not very careful. Soon I should have a display case and there hopefully won't be any problem.

I'm probably going to do more pictures I'll throw the best looking ones up here later I just wanted to get a few taken and take a look at the figures before I have to eat and step out. Altogether I'm glad I got them. I really loved this style from the ED and wanting something to add a little asymmetry to my collection

Dear lord, the people who warned me about QuesQ's terrible painting and quality control problems weren't kidding. My condolences, and also I must say I'm impressed with how levelheaded you are. If I'd gotten a figure with a spot like your Hachikuji has I'd be mad as fuck.

So it's a shame they're so spotty but that Senjougahara is just so damn cool-looking. I'll see if anyplace has her cheap.

As for EMS. Its a separate international channel for mail. The second it lands in your country, the standard mail will take care of it for the rest. While in theory the mail service *should* give these packages extra priority, most dont give a fuck.

If you want your shit fast go for a private courier service like Fedex/DHL/UPS etc.
Sometimes its cheaper than EMS too.
