R07 doesn't understand the Schrodinger's cat thought experiment.

Battler uses it to try arguing that two mutually exclusive possibilities exist but the lack of an observer doesn't reject either. But the actual thought experiment was just Schrodinger trying to give an example of exactly why you can't apply the principle of superposition in the macroscopic world.

dead because realistically a cat can't survive for long without air, and you have been talking about that cat in a box for 8 episodes so it's ran out of air by now and is dead. Anyone who says otherwise is ignorant to the effects of a lack of air on a living being.

>> No.10238315

that's a trick question. the cat is holding the box.

>> No.10238318

Who said the box isn't big enough? Or that there are plants with a light bubble that works on a generator that works on the irradiating material that will, eventually, kill the cat?

>> No.10238323

>>10238318
well if the box is that big then the cat could roam around forever and avoid the poison and is alive idiot.

>> No.10238337

>>10238323
Man, if the box is that big, then the venom sprinklers would be all around the box, so the cat wouldn't be able to scape. Or you could put the cat inside a cage (or chain him), so that it's unable to move, and some fans so the air moves around. You're being unimaginative.

>> No.10238345

>>10238337
That would cost a lot of money, and no one wants to kill a cat that bad. Realistically the cat would be dead if so.

>> No.10238357

>>10238345
Man, it's not expensive, because it's a though experiment. As you said, no one wants to kill a cat that bad, and even if they wanted, they would just, you know, kill it. Realistically speaking, there is no venom that could kill a cat instantly, no box that could hide the signals of the cat being alive/dead from outside, and a lot of other shit.

>no one wants to kill a cat that bad
Psychopaths exist, also "for science" several animals are killed everyday. That's routine.

>there is no venom that could kill a cat instantly
I think there are venoms that can do quickly enough, also "instantly" isn't a mandatory requirement for the experiment. Alternatively you can create other automated methods dependent on quantum events to kill the cat, such as electrocution and other other shit.

>no box that could hide the signals of the cat being alive/dead from outside
Well I think it can be feasible but I guess it would become more like a big heavy cube rather than a box. That thing should also include vital supports for the cat to be able to survive, mainly oxigen.
