I couldn't fully enjoy FSN because of Heaven's Feel. There was lots of nice stuff in that route, but Sakura is just so damn annoying heroine. It doesn't help that Rider kills you every time you try to off her.

It's like a music cd or something, most of the sales are made in the first weeks.
For egs it's the same, the ratings become stable after about one month, they don't change after that.

FSN was released in 2004. It was a big hit when it was released and it's normal.
But the genre evolved since then, FSN also had its share of problems so for a lot of people who are actually in the media FSN isn't really what they would cite among their favorite nowadays.

Heck there was a big favorite eroge thread in vip a few days ago and FSN was barely mentioned, and vip isn't especially where the big eroge expert meet-up.
