I was torn over the black hairband with the first preview we got, but with the full outfit they show here it makes sense why they changed it. A white hairband would not have matched as well. I was actually holding off on reading Tsukihime for a long time because I heard of a potential remake for years. So I had played a bit then got bored and I thought, well might as well wait for a remake! I just couldn't handle the art. Ciel was so ugly and boring, and the music, OH GOD THE MUSIC. Now I know what you're thinking, but I did play Umineko and I enjoyed it. The music and troll faces made that game. So, I figured REMAKE HERE I COME! I waited a couple of months then stumbled upon this thread to find that these new character designs look FABULOUS~! I'm definitely looking forward to playing this now!

Well, we might get lucky and all the characters will have several sets of clothes, and Akiha might have multiple headbands, of different colors that match the outfits (though a white headband with her black school outfit would fit better. her head would have a similar contrast to her black ribbon).

Wow, Ciel does look really fucking cute. So, when's this potential remake supposed to be coming out? Does anyone know? I would guess sometime 2013, but with all the delaying they do, especially with Witch on the Holy Night finally being released three years later than what was originally intended. Well, the biggest change to Akiha isn't really the hairband. It's the hair.
First I was wondering how they were going to make the black hairband work on the dark hair.

Naturally everyone compared her to Homura, but Homura unlike Akiha, had a lighter complexion to her hair. And now it is rather apparent that they have done exactly that, to Akiha too. Her hair has been made notably lighter, so now there is a bigger contrast between the dark hairband and the dark hair, as opposed to a situation where she could have had dark on dark.

All in all I say that it works. Especially with the new clothes. I have a bit of a hard time agreeing though when people claim that Akiha is the one who has changed the least.

Then Roa got dotted and now Ciel is a separate person again. It's actually a feminist commentary on the abusive relationship between a husband and his wife, such that the wife (Ciel in this case) cannot be a real person as long as the husband (Roa) is alive.
