So I was talking to a friend's little girl and she said she wanted to be President some day. Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, "If you were President, what's the first thing you would do?"

She replied, "I'd give food and houses to all the homeless people!" Her parents were beaming with pride.

"Wow - what a worthy goal!" I told her, "Of course you don't have to wait until you're President to do that. Just come over to my house tomorrow. You can mow, pull weeds, and sweep my sidewalks and driveway, and then I'll pay you $50. Then I can take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out and you can give him the money to buy some food or a new house." The little girl thought for a moment, then looked me straight in the eye and asked, "Why doesn't the homeless guy just come over and do the work himself, then you can pay him the $50?"

I said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

I know it's stupid but that is what happened, at first I used to browse internet forums to know more about games, then it was to follow anime together with neckbeards, and finally all the elitism and obscure meymeys and in-jokes got to me and I stopped caring about entertainment and care more about being accepted by anonymous.
