I can only keep up for a maximum of two to three weeks, then I get so anxious that I cannot do any more work for a few months. I wonder why? I probably have hundreds of pendings repetitions right now.

There weren't a lot today, but I'm yet to do my new cards for the day. There's 259 cards left on that second deck, and I'm still at an impasse as to whether I should keep going at a slow but consistent pace or just power through the rest of the cards like I've done with the first deck. Mayhaps I should stop asking myself this question and just do it, but I guess this is procrastination acting at its finest.

Well, at least I learn new things every day.

I don't know how I compare to you, but every day I look at the Anki screen and that feeling of anxiety sinks in. I ask myself if I should do it now or wait a bit more because I'm scared I'll fail too many cards and make a fool out of myself. I find that just forcing myself to click the review button completely solves the problem, in that when I actually start doing the reps, I get really into it and completely forget why I was worried in the first place.

Also, as an added value of inspiration, I started reading untranslated ero-doujinshi, and it's a really feel good moment when you read a dialogue bubble (as short as it may be) and you understand completely what that character just said. There's really no feeling like it.
