anyhow, I've been reading that the new plan for story mode will be only 3 different ones, where you switch between characters or something wonky like that. I'm not quite sure how it will work, but it will not be one story with a good/bad/funny ending the way it is now.

The azrael one has subtitles, haven't checked the Tsubaki one.

I think, from what I've been reading, that the planned story mode will be 3 branching paths that you play with multiple characters and it will switch you around or something of the sort.
Wanna see how they put it all together since an arcade mode will just be written for the character you're playing as to win every single scenario, so that would be like their perfect form alternate timeline?

Sad thing is, those telephone cards are pack-in bonuses with the games, not actual merchandising. As far as I know, the only BB figures are of Rachel, Makoto, and Noel (the latter because she got a Queen's Gate book).

Then again, GG never got all that much stuff either, right?

I didn't think anything of her in the first game, she was pretty forgettable. Then CS came out and she suddenly became fucking awesome. She was badass in the story modes, threatening the shit out of Tager and casually creating craters in the ground so she wouldn't have to beat the shit out of Carl. She's so sweet, as long as you don't fuck with her friends.

She became my favorite after that. Too bad her story in CSEX sucked, but everything writing related in CSEX was pretty terrible. Typos galore, and even some untranslated lines that were in spanish...

CSEX was enough to question the honesty of anyone claiming to play fighters for the story for a good while to come, but Makoto doing the equivalent of a FedEx quest was hardly the biggest problem.
