If you don't like to be affiliated with by this belief system, and I assume you mean all the animal cruelty stuff, and you also don't think animal products make you fat, what's the reason for your diet? You just don't like animal products?

Also,

It all comes down to the brain. When some people are depressed, they eat. Others do the opposite.
People vary, to be honest. Some don't change.

Anyway, back to OP: Depending on how young you are (I'm assuming little over your teens), you should be around the peak of your...fuck I can't remember, metabolism? If that's so, you should be able to lose weight faster than other less fortunate older folk.

Even if you don't follow that diet, you still follow the doctrine and like to preach it annoyingly without being provoked. That main point still stands.

"Fake" was in quotes, and in that context it gave very little insight on what I thought qualified as "fake" food. Yes. Just not an animal rights advocate. Just because people are often both, doesn't mean they are the same.

>you still follow the doctrine and like to preach it
What do you mean by "follow the doctrine"? Following the doctrine would be following the diet. I didn't preach anything, I didn't say "you shouldn't do this and shouldn't do that", I just stated some things that are facts. Unless you think some paleo blogs made up the history of human diets on their own? The only thing that wasn't a fact was my definition of "fake" in this context. And I don't really have a problem eating fake foods.

>"Fake" was in quotes, and in that context it gave very little insight on what I thought qualified as "fake" food. What I meant was stuff like TV dinners or instant meals, but you had to interpret in a way that was the most convenient
No, I interpreted it in the way that made the most sense to me. I didn't think "right, he's being unclear here, so I'll choose to interpret it in this way because it will annoy him". Your definition of fake is still vague. I don't see how tv dinners or instant meals are any less fake than pasta or bread. You could even call pasta before it's cooked a kind of instant meal. Why would someone reply to a thread about obesity by saying they don't eat animal products? Apparently, though I would still call you a vegan, you are neither of these types.
