I'm hoping so, but I'd think FROM would do well to release the next Souls game sooner, rather than later. Dark Souls seems to be fading faster than Demon Souls, but that might just leave a better community behind in the end that doesn't have all the whingers. Either way, I'm still having fun.

Darkmoons can invade downward, and can be avoided if you have no sin. You can absolve sin at Oswald. I've got around 1500 hours on the PS3, and I haven't met a hacker once; I honestly doubt they are really out there.

What equipment are you using? I did a SL1 naked/melee only run recently. I'll probably start using rings, armor, items and shields whenever I start NG+, so I think it'll wind up being easier until I beat a few more times. Kinda makes me not want to bother.

Is there any reason at all to go down The Great Hollow to Ash Lake? I mean, the areas are beautiful, but trying to get the items in the hollow might as well be an exercise in suicide, the black hydra is a pain in the ass to kill, and the reward for joining the covenant is gimmicky and stupid as hell. The sword you get out of it isn't that great either for the requirements it has, and getting all the way back up almost made me want to delete my character and start over without ever going to that area in the first place.

I mean, I can see you being a kid in a candy store down there if you have dragon weapons, but holy shit. What a terrible area.

I'm starting to get tired of this game. Japs are the cheapest motherfuckers ever, they eat humanities in the middle of a duel, they stab you in the back when you "bow", and if you let them buff their weapons, don't expect them to let you do the same, they WILL backstab you. Also, they use cheap tactics like TWoP + WotG, spamming pursuers, etc.

Playing as Gwyn is the most fun shit ever. Some invaders even fall to their knees when they see you and end up helping you fend off the other phantoms. I had a party of two white phantoms and a red one in Dark Root Garden. Needless to say we wrecked the whole place, most blue phantoms preferred to jump into the abyss instead of fighting the Lord of Cinder and his lackeys.
