Hearing the words JunJun spoke in english during the concert actually made me tear up. A wonderful moment indeed.

Seeing Koharu close up actually incapacitated me momentarily...or maybe it was a stroke...idk. She is magic.

Here's my AX experience

I-kun and I meet this really cool cat, L-kun. He is just downright amazed at our stories about meeting the Musume. We all exchange numbers and H!O usernames.
Concert Time! So somehow… a wota beats us to our row in our section… There was NO ONE else in the F section besides this guy… And he’s grabbed the best seat in our row… To make matters worse, he STUNK! He smelled of something FIERCE! I-kun was sitting right next to him, then me, then M-chan. This guy was the Eri-wota—the one with a scroll of her on his back. I-kun tells me that the wota ruffled his shirt to get some air in there… and the sleeves turned into a funk-cannon!! The air compression fired a hot blast of wota-funk right into I-kun’s nostrils… He almost blacked out! But smell aside, it was nice cheering with a wota. He was impressed that we knew all the concert cheers. The concert was over and I-kun and M-chan darted over to the exhibit hall to catch Yossie at her autograph session.

And two, betraying Morning Musume for not keeping the promise we made them about keeping it private amongst us 4 and them. We basically befriended Morning Musume at Anime Expo. (I’m doubtful we’ll actually hear MM say they made friends there) If we started a fiasco while meeting up with them… oh, I don’t even want to know how badly they’ll be treated back home.
Morning Musume is about to leave and L-kun and I wander about where they would exit to. An open exit in the back of the exhibit hall was lightly guarded so we take a peek outside. We spot a dinky-looking off-white shuttlebus parked right outside the exit. This was probably Morning Musume’s getaway vehicle. Once security asks us to move, we decide to call the guys that drove us down this morning for a ride back to the hotel. Those 2 are en-route when the Musume take their leave. One staff member was so funny when hey tried to stop fans from following the Musume to the exit. This guy runs out with his arms out and screams, “NO!” It was hilarious! I-kun had it recorded.

I quickly review the words in my head and ask them, “aisuru kuriimu shoopu, mou ichido, koban?” Which is horrible grammar—yes—but it translates to “ice cream shop, once more time, tonight?” Upon hearing that, their translator quickly jumps in and tells me that they’ll be busy tonight… Carol and Emily didn’t even get a chance to respond. At this point, I’m getting the feeling that I should leave. I thank Carol and Emily and made my way to the next member.
Sally also recognized me right away. That girl is so sweet when she greets me. I felt like taking her to ice cream right away. We exchange pleasantries again and I ask her for her autograph. The hand-off this time is a silent success. I had the card in my palm when I reached out for a handshake. Sally notices the card and is a little confused why something like that is there. But I lean a bit forward, look right into her eyes, and say, “yomu.” She accepts the card, and says “Ooh” in an affirmative tone. Mission: Accomplished.

But seriously, I agree. I can't help but feel a bit empty now. I was rewatching the video from when they arrived at the airport and I have no idea what came over me. There's no way I could act that way again I don't think, because that was the very first time I saw them that close, and you can only see them 'for the first time' once in your lifetime. Nothing will ever come close to that, but I'd really love to be proven wrong. I wish I had another chance to do something as good as seeing them in LA, but personally I think I'm running out of time, Aichan won't be around forever, and like people have said, seeing them in the space of a few days isn't enough to make a long lasting impression in my opinion. Hopefully they do go to Hawaii while 5th/6th gen is still there, I have relatives in Hawaii who need to be taken advantage of lol.

I was wondering the same thing a few days ago, considering the amount of time they were actually in the convention center, handshakes, and concert atmosphere its certainly possible.
But at the same time I have this image of them just dumping purell on themselves after each greet session.
The thing that gets you sick is knocking yourself out of equilibrium and then staying out of it for multiple days, a lot of these fanatics did just that, then they spent hours sitting in lines while their body temperatures were much higher than usual, perfect conditions to breed a strong virus.

There was no secret note passing, because the girl that was with us asked one of the Chinese members IN MANDARIN if they would meet us all for Ice cream. Also hilarious that Ayaya's first thought about her was what goddamn streetgang she belonged to.
As time progressed it just got worse (better?) with talking in interviews about how cute dancing was pretty much bullshit and not for her and all of this leading into her not getting that many appearances on Hello! Morning due to the fact that while all the other would "Yaaaaay~~ Genki as FUCK!!" she would just stand / sit there and not make a spectacle of herself. Best example would be the volleyball episode when they added her to the team for that show. It consisted of the girls doing a bunch of tests to determine how good their balance, strength, reflexes and whatever skills were. Which meant that girls would be messing up the tests in cute ways and overreacting to alot of things. Not Maki however. For the entire show I don't think she said a word, didn't laugh, didn't jump around and get all excited. She did her tests and got the highest possible score on every single one of them, and just smiled, I don't even think she said thanks or anything like that. I don't think they ever gave her another bigger part on H!M after that, haha. Doesn't really make for good tv. Then came the whore phase that Tsunku had her do which she didn't like and blah blah go fuck yourself H!P / UFA I'm tearing up my contract. And now judging from her Unrecorded episodes she seems like a normal girl and just pretty damn laid back most of the time, nice to hear her actual voice too and not her taking it one octave higher.

You have to put the perception through the eyes of the people who runs AX and Yaz. I think the volunteers and staff didn't know how overwhelming the reception for MM was. Yaz was probably stressed out when she started yelling and ordering people around. But during the guest reception, she was hella nice to me and the other people and helped us translate stuff to MM. I think it was pretty obvious that Yaz was told by UFA to filter out some of the questions for MM to answer. There were some noticeable awkward pauses during the Q&A. I think Yaz handled most of the translation because she had worked with various other Japanese artists coming over to States. She was present during Hangry and Angry and thats why UFA used her and trusted her for translation.

As a customer aidorufaggie, we do have the right to bitch or piss and moan if the services arn't up to par but keep in mind, seeing MM in NORTH AMERICA is already a PRIVILEDGE as well as huge convention with 44,000 attendees is hard to satisfy everyone.

Haha, atleast read my fucking post before opening your mouth about me. And it was a mix of the two. Some of the blandness came from the fact that she didn't behave the same way as everyone else. Hence why they never gave her alot of important roles and whathaveyou in Hello! Morning and other shows. When girl comes out and flat out says that acting cute is something she's garbage at and that she finds shit like that embarassing + says that she isn't the talkative type, you're better off leaving her the fuck out of your shows and just sticking some other hyper-active shrieking idol in there instead. How about this? He's claiming that if you PM him on the forums you will get the ALL MIGHTY End of 3rd Day Blog and possibly 4th day in which they came to meet us/ran into them again/bull shit that he has no proof of! Realize a couple of things.

First - Ice Cream was supposed to be the day that we asked them during the autograph signing. That was the first signing session of Day 3, the yellow ticketed one. There was one after that in the exhibition hall. Wich concluded their AX activities.

Second - Tsunku blogged that he took the girls out to dinner on day 3, their last night in L.A..

Third - MM left the next day. Stalker videos all over youtube. We had people posted up at the fireworks spot and the ice cream spot. MM never showed for either.

It seems like a lot of work for anonymous to go through, if you feel like posting the picture here then do so, you don't have to worry about being identified.

If you are telling the truth then it rather interesting to hear the opinion of someone who is wrapped up in a fanfiction and doesn't wish to be. You really should post this shit on H!O, none of us here really care for the namefagging and camerawhoring that is taking place post AX.

Being staggered by the new experiences, left speechless by the beauty of the costumes and attendees, I didn't really talk to a lot of people! However, I did talk to several people at the concert itself, including a girl who had been to Morning Musume concerts in Japan before, and a fellow who had gone to a BOA concert in the area recently as well. I was in section B8. We had but a handful of people waving lightsticks and cheering in our row, but I was into it the whole time. I was fortunately able to get a purple lightstick and cheer Aika on! I reeaally hope there is a DVD coming out - even though they were somewhat distant, I watched the stage directly (instead of the screens) with the logic that that was my opportunity to see them LIVE, and I could see the rest when the DVD came out. Hope that wasn't a miscalculation.

Just get a better immune system. I let my body fight everything off on it's own. I don't use medicines, vitamins, etc. You should get everything you need from food. Needless to say, I didn't catch anything at AX. If I did, it died off pretty quickly.

I think I lost like 10 pounds after AX though. I barely ate and I lost a lot of water weight sitting outside in the sun a lot.

The concert was most awesome too. I was interviewed by H!P staff afterwards for a DVD. Who knows what that DVD may be, but it's good to know that they have something in the works. They asked for my thoughts on the concert and whatnot.

At the guaranteed autograph signing on Saturday, I met two nice H!O dudes while standing in line. One of the guys was from San Diego, while the other was from Canada. I was the Gaki fan from Wisconsin. I didn't feel particularly rushed getting autographs from the girls, nor was I prevented from chatting with them. Nearly all of the girls commented on the custom shirt I was wearing. I had this drawing of a Tsunku caricature on it, and Linlin first pointed to it and exclaimed "Tsunku-san! Sugoi! Sugoi!" Ai was all "Waaaa, kawaii~!" Gaki marked out that I had her name on the back of the shirt.

After the concert I returned to the Jpophouse booth to kill sometime before my guaranteed autograph session (which apparently was guaranteed) I watched the same Morning Musume PVs and concert videos over and over singing a long the best I could. Then it was finally time for the autograph session. I was really excitied about, hearing peoples stories about doing little acts in front of them and shaking there hands and making conversation, but by the time my turn came around it was like a prison camp. I went in and I smiled at all the girls I couldn't really help it Koharu, Eri, and Sayumi kept looking and me smiling and I kept smiling and giving a wave back. But when I went up to the line I was greeted by a burly security guard who stated "No small talk, no handshake, make it quick" and in my head I was like WTF?!!! This is ridiculous, I followed his rules, looking back I really wish I was defiant! Still it was nice to see all the girls so close, Sayumi seemed to have a lasting impression on me.

So good this feeling.
