I want to preorder mayuyus upcoming single on cdjapan, quick questions about that:

Which version do I chose? I figure the most expensive one, the LE, is the best one, but there aren't much details on what's actually inside. The LE Type x ones apparently come with DVDs of her in different japanese school uniforms, and are cheaper, so I'm leaning towards one of them instead.

I'm learning it, allthough it's of course nowhere near enough to fluently understand their lyrics yet. The more important factor though, is that I got used to the sound of it over the years, and I kind of came to like this stupid language.

I have a hard time dealing with Indonesian though, or most other asian languages for that matter. Maybe it's really just because I'm not used to it, or maybe I'm just that much of a filthy weeaboo.

Also, I found 4 of the girls from that image to be somewhat appealing, lots of the other ones are actually repulsing me. But as you said, it's simply a matter of preferences of course.

Why are AKB's songs so loud and poorly-mixed? The songs are fun and I enjoy them but they physically pain me to actually listen to for an extended period of time.

I don't really consider myself an audiophile but AKB stands out as a bad victim of the loudness war.

It's interesting because sometimes the concert playback sounds a lot nicer and cleaner, even though they lipsync everything. Like they purposely make it sound bad on cd and then use a better track when people come see them in person.

My current interest in 48 groups:
NMB > HKT > AKB > SKE (> JKT)

NMB seems to have the best music, cutest girls and most talent these days. HKT is getting more interesting, their new show is good (check out the latest episode for some hilarious quiz answers) and their upcoming first single will be something to look forward to. AKB's "generation change"/center hunt is getting a bit stale for me, and nothing much has been going on with SKE. Jurina as an AKB ace might be hurting them more than helping them right now.

This announcement was so sudden that is scares me for the future. Suddenly, I feel really insecure about when certain members might graduate.

It hurts so bad, I've never felt like this with a member graduating before. The thing that's really scary is that she wasn't even my SKE oshimen, 2nd only to Rena. I wonder if I will die from depression if one of my oshimen graduates. I just can't believe it.

Thinking about it too much really makes me feel too sad, like I am losing something that will never return. Whereas Acchan at least had an idea where she might go after graduating, it seems so unsure for Kuumin. It's like she is just going to disappear forever, almost without a trace. As lame and selfish as it may sound, I don't want that. ;____;

Is there a batch torrent for Akbingo 2010? I checked hello-online and didn't see one. That's where I got 2008-2009 from, with pretty good speeds. I see a batch on akb48online but there is only 1 seeder and I'm getting nothing on it. I'm just about done 2009 episodes so I wanted to start getting the next bunch.

The recommended program to start from would probably be AKBINGO. People generally recommend going from the oldest to the newest with that program (1ji -> 0ji -> AKBINGO) to see the progression in the group. The first few years of episodes are also subbed.
