Is that stated in one of the print works I've not read? Because in Immaterial and Missing Power, when using her growth spellcard, Suika's attacks don't weaken, even though she's several times her normal size. Additionally, when she's small, opponents blows knock her around as much as anybody else, which means we can assume that she's not just really really dense in her small state. Which basically means that her ability just rapes the principle of conservation of mass. To some extent anyways.

The way he dealt with his Marisa and Momiji's stories was complete shit. Both stories were interesting, but then he had to ruin the endings. The Marisa one, in particular, he completely fucks up Byakuren's character and make her completely inappropriate. It was horrible.

I will say he's not good at endings. The Momiji one was especially abrupt, and I'm not entirely sure what the ending means, but if my gut's right it's depressing as shit.

I think the point was that she was a rich nobleman's daughter who hated the stuffy atmosphere of court and liked going in nature and hunting to tap into her more primal roots and urges. She idolized and wanted to become like this tough old wolf, itself probably some stripe of Youkai beast, but found herself unable to fully cast off her essentially civilized nature. Aya pointed out to her that it was all essentially roleplay on Momiji's part, and that she had to stay within certain limits. Her comforting illusion of being a fearsome predator beast shattered, she returns to being a guard, the wolf teeth symbolizing her broken link with that world. I think. There's some room for interpretation right there at the ending.

At any rate, Vintage was the only one where I thought he pulled off an ending well. Most of his endings suck, but I like him okay regardless because of the interesting scenarios, and I think that Vintage was probably his best.
