Just finished Comet route at Sei Monmusu Gakuen.i was waiting some shitty nukige with monster fetish but it was actually better than most of moeges.H-scenes are short and the route itself have a decent story with some romance,Character development was good as well.I cant say perfect but this is definitively goes beyond my expectations.Starting Centaur girl /Shirene/ now.

Going through Fortissimo EXS - Ryuuichi makes me rage, a POS that single-handedly made all those death possible among friends possible, thanks to his Worldly Justice view. I guess it's a saving grace that he is not the main protag, too bad I need to go through his view to complete, may be I should just have click button on turbo mode...

Also, the game uses furigana at the weirdest places. They put furigana right next to fucking 本当, yet they use the kanji for ちょっと without furigana. Maybe it's some kind of joke that I don't get.

Just finished Period, and I thought it was a pretty fun VN. I liked the whole side story involving Tsuzumi's mysterious past, whatever the hell was up with Yukina's father, and the fact that the both of them ended up in loli forms at different points. I have to say, I was really surprised when I saw that guy for the first time in the cafe during Rin's route.

Kohane and Yukina are definitely my favorites. So, to anyone else who's finished this, can anyone tell me how to get the last CG? I tried searching the archived and such, but it's rather hard to find out more about a game called "Period". I know that it appears at the very end of the intro video, but I didn't find the associated scene yet.

At one point there's a three-way decision to avoid getting told off by Asuho which involves either going to the library, nurse's office, or just grinning and bearing it. Go to the library, then after running into Rin choose "Go somewhere else." You should then hear a strange noise. Choose to investigate it for the CG.

As for the VN itself, I quite like the device in the way it forces the confrontation, however some characters have some sort of emotion cliff where they just flip in 2 lines, the contrast is way too clean. The fodders could've well allowed some more screen time to make this whole thing less jarring. So transition is rough in both of these. Ryuuichi is a POS hypocrite. Reiji is a pretty average protag.

Just started Owarinaki Natsu. I probably should have played this before chronicles 03, but it looks so generic that I wonder why I even started it.
The background music is so strong that even if I turn it down to minimum some of the tracks still cover the voices of half the characters, while some other tracks are inaudible.

Just finished Sonsaku's route with Ryufu's epilogue on this, kinda fun but too much micromanagement, plus it gents infuriating at times as I'm pretty damn sure the AI is a cheating whore.
I wish there were more characters interactions though, my army felt like it was made of corpses.

I'm not really in the mood right now to grind for some other epilouge or try another route, so going to either try とらバ！or clear Sword's route on Armen Noir, I'm still undecided.

That's not something I have experienced. The few I did play seemed pretty boring though.

Finished Love Split, Luna's routes were pretty nice.
Rather than Bowling drama this route focused on examinations, it was actually pretty realistic, the sort of story that it hits close at home.

Not a bad title at all overall, not for people who want something exciting though.

Also finished the trial of 八つ数えろ.
Overall it was pretty amateurish, as expected of a doujin made by one guy but it was entertaining and the writing shows promise, the trial can kind of work as a standalone too which is nice.
But I'm not sure I want to buy the full product.

Not really interested in anything this month, except for Root Double (kind of, not a huge fan of any of the infinity series, though I like non stagnant developing plots). Tentatively excited for new Navel even though I'm totally conscious of the fact that I'm being selectively baited by Jackson's presence, and that it will probably be average or worse. I'm thinking about playing Asairo and taking a short break from DI since it's long and I'm waiting for AA to get here anyway. I'm kind of hesitant to start on it though, since I don't want to get hooked on a game in the opening weeks of classes.

Absolutely loved Marie's route, it was outrageously awesome. Frankly I thought the last chapter was well on par with the ending segments of Heaven's Feel in FSN, I could not put it down after the Makina battle.

Still struggling through 黄昏のシンセミア. I really want to start another game I'm intersted in, but I'm not capable of concentrating properly on more than one eroge at the same time, and I don't want to drop Sinsemilla since I'm nearly done with the last character route (about 85% through the entire game according to the ingame counter). Yeah, Concerto Note was the same way too. You have to be charmed by the writer's creation in order to get into it (could easily say the same thing about Maruto, but he's easier to get into due to his magic). Except, Sinsemilla doesn't have Rito, who's probably my favorite heroine in a game second to Asuka from Oretsuba, so I didn't like it as much.

Character games must involve some really intricate, delicate design. Such an interesting genre.

I believe the 360 Versions are just the Standard Edition releases but with Metamorphose in place of Name ~Kimi no Na ha~ OP in MLA, and First Pain instead of Divergence in ML, a couple of new CGs, and making use of the new features in rUGP 6.
Might have been some changes to the H scene replacements as the ones in the Standard Editions were pretty lewd.
As for buying the PS3 versions, it's up to you really. The Windows 7 versions are, I believe basically the same thing as the 360 and PS3 versions, just with different OPs and H scenes. But honestly the changes probably don't merit buying it especially if you've already played the Standard Edition, unless you really want to support 5pb/age.

Continued and finished from where I left off on Kamikaze (oppai) Explorer, was really hoping for more high jinks with the protag having fun with his ability and this really doesn't have enough of that, such a wasted opportunity. Just started on Rea's route but from Marie's route, Reinhardt denied any knowledge of who Izahck's (however you romanize it) father was, but when Reinhardt completely disregarded him he aked something to the effect of "Why, Father?". That combined with Riza constantly saying "he looks just like his father" of which the only two people with multicolored eyes are Reinhardt and Christoph, am I supposed to assume that yes, Reinhardt is his father, or is it still unknown to me at this point?

Yeah he was fucked up for sure. But as a plot device and contrast to Tsukasa, their final confrontation, the clash of two extreme ideologies sent chills up my spine. Muramasa and Dies Irae among a few had interactions like that, where a character embodied an idea or philosophy, and their interactions were a compare and contrast of well thought ideas, but I have to give credit to Setoguchi for doing that while still having completely believable characters that were inherently human, Granted everyone in that game was fucked up, but their deficiencies and flaws were also human as opposed to an error relative to their personal ideas that formed them.

Well, yeah, the author validated his train of thought constantly, and aspects of it made sense and were rational. But he was still a tyrant, and acted as one. Then enforced his beliefs onto the society he was in. To the bitter end he scrutinized everyone for turning against him and not following what he believed to be a perfect plan, of which all of the other protagonists, particularly Tsukasa convincingly denied. Takuma just died before he had the time to learn his lesson about what it means to be human during his fight with Tsukasa.

Personally, I think that Takuma was a bad guy, a very fitting one at that. Not simply an antagonist, but evil. His thoughts were inhuman and incompatible with reality, which manifested itself in the murderous clusterfuck at the end. Yes. The furry community translated a (short I think) furry VN by Circus named 'Yaminabe Aries - Tail Tale' back in 2009. Never played it very far, though, so I'm not sure how good it is.

So, I finally finished this. I really didn't expect it to end on a high note, much less a harem ending. But they really managed to tie up the whole thing pretty well and the epilogue was pretty mind blowing. 1. How did Shouji die? What did it mean when Shinobu started using 俺 during the last scenes with pictures of Shouji flashing?
2. In Category 2 Youko's route it appears that the perspective changed from Shinobu to Itsuki. Was Shinobu using the King's Power to look through Itsuki's eyes?
3. Heroine Fueko was apparently imitating her older sister, but what was her relationship with Souta? Why was she so willing to obey him?
4. In 戦争編 the three go to meet some guy who has turned Freak, but Shinobu is able to talk with him. Was it Shouji?
5. What was the "Enemy"? They talk about it during the last parts but did they really establish anything apart from "it's from higher plain of existence". I might have missed some text. Or did they leave it at "enemy is simply enemy"?

Root Double. I boosted through Saihate no IMA just so I could have a clean slate and some downtime before starting it. Hyped as fuck.

Zero Infinity also looks interesting but I want to read DI and KKK before starting it.

I'll start with Tsukumo no Kanade, I guess. Then Root Double, then Sinclient if it doesn't get horrible reviews. I'll throw Lovely Quest in there somewhere if I need a break from all the Real Deal(tm). Tsujidou-san no Junai Road looks like it could be fun, too.
