Where does understanding come from? The gut feelings of children are rarely based on understanding. Logical accumulation of knowledge is a powerful thing. Even if knowledge is being passed by intuitive means, someone has had to do the original thinking.

Where should I go?

I often score INTP and ISTP, ever, I never scored anything else. Sensing -> Intuition is always no more than 10% difference, sometimes it's even 0%, no preference, by reading the definitions I can say I'm somewhat a mix of these two. It really depends on when I do that, one day I get ISTP, other one INTP.
