I think a Touhou horror game, or war game would be cool. Or even like, a huge roaming game like Skyrim-- like where you can roam Gensokyo like a huge map. Where you can fight demons and Youkai. And do quest for villagers and all the characters, like being apart of Gensokyo. Where what you say or do gets the character to like you-- like a dating sim game. So every dood can get whatever character they wanted.
Also, if you wandered into the bamboo forest, you could see Kaguya fighting with Mokou, or catch Yukari in the background watching Reimu clean the shrine, or peek into Alices window and see her make dolls or sneek up behind Patchi when shes reading or steal books, but if you get caught you gotta fight or if Sakuya comes, you fucking run, and if Remi or Flan show up, your run like a lil bitch.

But just a huge roaming game where you can customize your own character with a shit load of options, and the more you fight or battle, the more powerful you become/find new spells or different magical swords or shit. Suika: Ultimate Destruction, or Youkaitype. Some game where you can be an oni or a youkai and use your powers to wreck havok on reality.

Maybe a game where you play as lesser youkai and have to try to catch humans.

I'm seconding the touhou cowadoody and advance wars, sounds great!

Tactical MMO (think FFT like, maybe Wakfu) with Touhous. I have a whole concept of how would it work (stats, spells, items, crafting, bosses) but I don't feel like writing it down for nothing. tl;dr version: you control a party of 3 girls (not canon Touhous), learn new spells from 10 schools (2 at the time per character + basic spells) and collect (cute) items with mostly randomized stats. Leveling up to the cap is possible even solo, beating strongest bosses requires cooperation of even 5 players.

Oh i have an idea, how bout a old-school syle touhou beat 'em up game like double dragon, or river city ransom. And they could be pixelated, because that would be awesome. And you get certain powerups that would let you activate a spellcard. You guys know what i mean right?

I haven't played Defense of the Shrines, but I know Dota 2, HoN, and LoL all just keep going downhill. Smite looks terrible. Part of the reason Dota was successful was that Icefrog DIDN'T add a new hero every other fucking day. A standalone 2hudota would probably be reasonably successful if it was actually balanced well. If there was a p2shop, it could just feature different outfits, since the available heroes would be pretty set-in-stone.

Just rambling because I would play it until my dick falls off. HoN is so boring now.

I havent been able to find one with netplay (aside from the shitty DS one) but Nintendo Puzzle Collection on the Gamecube is pretty much the definitive version of the Panel de Pon game; it's got the 3D mode from Pokemon Puzzle League, 5 difficulties, 2 player and 4 player VS, and you can connect the gameboy advance to it via the GBA cable if you hate how the Gamecube d-pad feels (i know i do).

You could emulate it with Dolphin but the sound is all fucked up.
