tl;dr version, Hate your body. So long as my hate overcomes my laziness I feel motivated.

Long version is I originally compared myself to touhou characters or MC's in shows and thought I want to be like that. Stupid in a lot of ways since I'll never have 1/10th of Reimu's power but it is good motivation. If I can become stronger and faster than most people in this world, imagine what I could be like in X universe. Also pic is related, it is nice to dream that I could climb a mountain like that and get shit faced with Suika.

Now a big reason is if I stop running or stop lifting I feel bad. Like physically ill because I'm so used to it. Not sure how it works, but you produce natural drugs when working out or running. If you get the motivation then after a few months you'll begin to go though withdrawals of not working out. If I don't do at least one five mile run a week I feel kinda sick.

Depends what country you live in. Jails in Canada, Australia and Continental Northern/Western Europe are extremely pleasant. You have access to free university education, health and recreational facilities, libraries and of course (depending on the nature of crime and restrictions applied to you) internet access. If I was faced with the choice between vagrancy and going to prison, of course I would choose prison. I would continue being a NEET while simultaneously getting a post-secondary degree and lifting erryday. Jail is living hell outside of a handful of countries however.
