I heard no Neurofunk, Darkstep or Breakbeat Hardcore on it and Futurestep is not a genre.

Also I don't think the tracks on there sound as bad as pendulum, fang in particular has some nice production skills for a doujin producer (I don't know if people agree with me but I've found that doujin D&B all has this one distinct sound to it which differs from 'normal' D&B. The same is one this album in places).

I did like the Fang D&B Remix of Fracus & Darwin - Circle, that was nice.

I was just answering a question there. Yes, it’s most likely a legit rip, at least according to the spectrogram. Lossy audio compression, especially MP3, typically looks different (pic related), and that cutoff at around 21 kHz is often caused by certain audio filters during production.
I’m not one of those “audiophile” idiots who try to judge audio quality by looking at spectrograms.
