I don’t normally blog, but I think I might break down hard tomorrow.
Had two months to study for an exam, the last chance I will get before I’m kicked out, I did next to nothing, basically (pseudo-)NEETing it up.
Now, there were assignments that I should have sent to the teacher before tomorrow. These were necessary to be allowed to take the exam. I didn’t do them. Not to mention I would fuck up hard on the exam (again).
I feel very angsty and I’m scared. I’ve been telling myself I should put in the effort for two months now.
Damn.

How to continue doing what your doing right now without changing your lifestyle while getting paid to do it. Completely legal, and why not? Work hard like a slave and the fruits of your labor are stolen anyway. Why not louse around and do what you want, playing vidya games all day; tons of people are already doing it!

1. Go to
http://www.socialsecurityhome.com/disabilities/mental-disorders
and pick a disability (we all have one; pick one)
2. Get a psychologist to confirm it. Tell him how much a struggle your life is. He will log your sessions.
3. File for disabilities at
http://ssa-custhelp.ssa.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/326/kw/apply%20for%20disability/
4. Wait for approval
5. Approval gotten; enjoy your easy life and monthly checks wired directly to your bank routing #
6. Denied; get lawyer after denial and you will always get your status changed to approved after he works his game. Plus they will pay you for all the back payments they owed you since you were wrongly denied for your disability.
7. Find someplace to live while you wait out the Section 8 housing list.
8. Make sure you've got those food stamps too.
9. Escaped the ZOG and leech back off him.

Continue to lurk all day, watch movies play video games, and live a life of hedonism.

"Lottery winners and accident victims: is happiness relative?" is actually a great paper. Very enlightening, you should read it. It was pretty ground-breaking, which is why it's referred to so often.
What that Anon is describing is called "adaptation level theory", and he's fairly spot-on. David G. Myers summed it up like this:
> Thanks to our capacity to adapt to ever greater fame and fortune, yesterday’s luxuries can soon become today’s necessities and tomorrow’s relics.

It's an important idea because it leads to things like the "hedonic treadmill", which is worth looking up. It's probably something you've considered, and it explains why a lot of rich people are miserable even though they've basically won at life.

yes. they bend over backwards if you know how to spin it. tell them you're homebound. it's a special rule for people who are stuck at home because of their dissability and don't function going outside. sometimes they'll try and jerk you around tell you just come down, but it's cause they don't want to do the extra work. they'll mail you the stuff and do everything else over the phone if you insist you can't leave. it may not work if you go for other disabilites and you're active outside a lot and they know you are though. you could just lie and say you've got no money and going through too much psychological difficults to go outside even if they know you're active outside sometimes.

I have no ethical qualms against getting autismbux and whatnot, but things like telling doctors I'm housebound or I want money just doesn't seem feasible to me. I don't want to be the centre of attention or make extra work for everyone because I feel like I'm not quite worth it. In fact I've often overcome anxiety and my own arrangements to travel to appointments and such because I don't want to make a fuss by cancelling, relocating or rescheduling.

>how much do you get for autismbux?

You are under the impression that autismbux is an actual term used by the government as an alternate name for SSI. It is actually a term made up on the internet used as a name for a disability check. Not everyone on autismbux gets SSI and not everyone on autismbux gets SSDI. The distinction between the two is irrelevant because often times people who have worked part time or worked on and off full time will not know exactly what they are getting until they get an approval. Both programs are administered by the Social Security Administration. Both programs pay you when you can not work. You are being overly specific when there is not need to be.

I'm going to assume you already know that, and haven't for example only started visiting in the last month or so, so again you're only going out of your way to avoid admitting you are incorrect in this. Why not have just made the distinction in the first place?

you can get ssd and ssi in conjunction, but the amount of money you recieve from ssi is less as you receive more ssd money. so an example is you'll receive a check from ssd for $300 and another from ssi for $398 and some supplemental aid from the cash program for $81. so even if you receive $698 from ssd then ssi won't be able to give you any additional income. those guys who make lots get it because they receive large ssd checks since their parents made lots of money and they received minors benefits.

>> No.9607829

this thread went to shit when you guys started arguing over ssi/ssd.

ssd = social security insurance for retirement, survivors, disabled.

it's calculated based off your work history always since it's the actual social security fund. when you qualify they determine when it started and if it happened before you were 18 years old then you get minors benefits which calculcates a % of your parents income if it's higher than yours.

that's how some people get lots of money from ssd. their parents are making lots of money so the % get is very high.

ssi = supplemental security income.

as the name says it's a supplement income for those do don't make over a certain amount of money so they can survive. the exact amount varies by the state you live in. some stats give 697 caps and others may give 678 caps.

the tricky part is the way it's calculated, basical the first $20 you make from any source of income is ignored so whatever the cap is it's that plus $20. there's other government programs which you can apply for which boosts the amount of money you receive over the cap and don't count against your income they're cash programs tied together with food stamps which gives you around $81 or so depending on the state.

you can get ssd and ssi in conjunction, but the amount of money you recieve from ssi is less as you receive more ssd money. so an example is you'll receive a check from ssd for $300 and another from ssi for $398 and some supplemental aid from the cash program for $81. so even if you receive $698 from ssd then ssi won't be able to give you any additional income. those guys who make lots get it because they receive large ssd checks since their parents made lots of money and they received minors benefits.

You can attend a state university at a reasonable cost, especially if you do not need to live 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨. Ultimately, though, if you do not see how attending a university would help you to achieve your life goals, don't do it. Just doing something without a real plan or reason for doing it (aside from a vague expectation that it will make your life better, without being clear on how this would actually happen) gets you in trouble.

Personally, I like to be in control of what the final photo is going to look like. I like an optical viewfinder. I like physical confirmation for things like aperture, ISO, and shutter speed. I like using off-camera lighting. I like my wide angle lenses. I just plain like using cameras.
