I'm actually getting good speeds with Aerial and Biman 2. Torrents for new releases have been fucking slow for me for a while so this is a nice surprise.

So do people think aerial is going to be able to compete with the big three? I played just a bit of the trial and honestly the military infodumps and the protag didn't really sit well with me.

I hope it proves me wrong.

I have completed Baldr Force EXE, including all endings and unlockable items. It feels good to 100% clear a game for once; I honestly can't remember the last time I put 60+ hours into a game, eroge or otherwise.

I can see how some games with an enforced playing order could get repetitive if each route covers basically the same material, but that isn't the case here, thankfully. Since the main plot and the protagonist's viewpoint change depending on the route, things remain consistently interesting each playthrough. Most importantly, the final route feels fulfilling with the way it wraps up the three plotlines and provides resolution for issues that characters faced throughout the game (even Genha). Bonus points for actually validating the previous routes by having them appear as visions of worlds that could have been-- it was like reflecting on memories of a long journey that is about to come to an end.

Now, before moving on to another story-driven title, I will relax with Uhou Renka and its outstanding H-scenes. Karen is amazing and took me by complete surprise.

If you want things with tubes then you might want to just look under the scat tag on vndb since like you said there isn't a tag for that type of scene specifically. As for more extreme H-scenes, in general if a vn is tagged with something like guro, sexual slavery, necrophillia, etc. (any "darker" tag) then it will usually have more than a few extreme scenes. Black Cyc is a company that I like that makes a lot of those types of games. v10293 too but that's just a personal favorite.

Finished Chapter 4, Miku route.

Man, that was good.

So I finally took the time to finish the main part of Astelight.

Short game, which is a bit unfortunate because the setting is quite awesome and there are many aspects of it that are mentioned but not explored as much as they could have been. This applies to some characters as well. But I guess this was inevitable since it's strictly a budget title.

Still, it tells a complete story, and has several awesome moments, and the writing is as you would expect. Possibly the top title of this year for me so far (which says more about this year than anything), no reason not to do it if you liked their previous works

Despite most of the characters being Asimov的 speakers for Inoue the Repetitive's microphone, I'm really enjoying Aerial.

The pacing is fast enough to keep an ADD like myself interested, the production values make the battles pretty damn 燃え, the soundtrack is decent, the themes are good and the concept is a nice, fleshed out mix of sci-fi and superscience, both of which I like very much.

My complains still apply but this chapter was at least shorter than 6.

Aerial would really get better if it had less "drama" stuff and more mech action.
It's not like I'm an ADD fag who want lot of shit blowing up but really it's just too much, it's the penultimate chapter and it really feel I barely saw Aerial in action.
If at least the drama was good...

Anyways big stuffs happened at the end of the chapter so I have some hopes for the final, I'll at least try to finish the game today.

Finished Aerial, very satisfying sci-fi military vn. This is a good way to end July. Surprise hit of the year for me since I didn't care much about it before the trailer. Some of the intense scenes had me sweat a little.

Finished Aerial.
Some time ago someone here compared it to a blockbuster movie and I think the comparison is appropriate.
It's really made like the sort of blockbusters that come from Hollywood.
Actually, and sorry for the shitty comparison, it kind of made me think of the Transformer movie (no, Aerial isn't that bad), especially all the military fuck yeah to the point where it really overshadow the titular Aerial.

Add to that the irrelevant side characters who do nothing except take place (I wonder if anyone actually cared about Miku and Omi by the end, I pretty much had to strain myself not to ctrl through their scenes), all the drama is really streamlined and generic yet Aerial is really more of a character drama than an action story (which is bad because of the lack of personality of pretty much every characters).
The setting/story also seems complicated yet interesting at the beginning but in the end feel really shallow and undeveloped and there was enough said about the repetitiveness of the script.

But it's not like I think it's a kusoge or something, I did had some fun with it.
Again everything about it is very generic but not to the point where it offended me, actually with less repetition and irrelevant scenes I would probably have enjoyed the game with the same story more.
And I have to say I really enjoyed the kicking asses with Aerial scenes, too bad there isn't enough of them.

Anyways people who want simple fun and are less critical than me could probably enjoy it quite a bit, people who want some mecha could try it too but be advised that it's just a minor part of the game, and people who want some good pilot drama should rather go read Gunjou no Sora wo Koete.

At the end of the game Nagi traps the SPOOKs on earth while humanity goes to space using the same kind of barrier that you can see in AB, it's not directly stated but the world of AB is a parallel world and was probably influenced indirectly by this. Actually the reason why Nagi has no ero during the main game of Aerial was probably to drive the whole "hymen" point home.

Koyori is adorable, those were my impressions on her route. Though I just couldn't really feel anything about the developments between her and her sistre at the end, Sayori just lacked development for me to care for her.
Two more routes to go, and I like Iyo so next route should be good.

Finished reading JQV. Excellent read from start to finish and the soundtrack was really great. I could see few points that could make one dislike the VN but none of those things really bothered me. I went into this without really expecting much but it turned out to be one of my absolute favorites.
I hear the writing is very similar to 田中ロミオ. I should probably look into reading Saihate no Ima and Cross Channel soon...

Yes, Rune's latest game, I need myself some good porn with plot game every once in a while.
It's not like it's that lower in quality compared to the storm of generic high school shit we get every month anyways, plus it's from the writer of When This Song Ends, I'm hoping for a surprise which wouldn't be that weird for Rune's game, the guys are like ClockUP.

Finished Aerial. The writing was kind of shit and I really couldn't connect with any of the characters but I can't deny the fact that this was a pretty wild ride. If the author would have stopped to repeat himself all the fucking time this would have been pretty excellent. Still a fun mecha-blockbuster.

Furuiro Meikyuu Rondo is pretty good so far.
The pacing is tight, the "gameplay" is pretty interesting and well implanted, the writing flows well and the characters are nice.
Now for the scenario to deliver but I'd say some really interesting stuff are being foreshadowed.
