There are any games after TD lately ? Did Futo appear in anything beside SoPM ? I only know Mamizou and Seiga just appeared in WaHH, the rest of TD cast just disappeared.

I like Youmu but I'd like to see Futo or Shou in the next game.

I hope she gets. I'd like to see more new playable characters.
It would be nice if they made one weapon per character, so we'd get 6-8 characters instead of 3-4 with 2 weapons each, I'd like to see Orin and Shou as well.

I have the feeling that the next game will be a "phantasmagoria .." so yes, expecting Aya and a few new characters but for the next danmaku integer Sanae is out and eiter Udongein or Toramau are in, Aya has no place in these.

Why do people always hope that 1st/2nd stage bosses with be playable in one of the traditional games? It's silly.

I want a game with playable youkai. Yuuka being playable again would be amazing.

But of course we will get another generic incident solving with Reimu and Marisa. I only hope ZUN will make Marisa worth playing again.

Seeing Futo appear in a game is actually a good possibility.

She may be a hermit like the rest of the crew, but as it's been pointed out through SoPM, something is different about her compared to the rest of the hermits. Course I say it all depends on if ZUN will continue to take Futo onward in character development. All we know is that she's old fashioned, has a hard time adjusting to the changes in life and apparently riding along with Miko to try to achieve Celestialdom (Though Miko isn't revealing her "top secret hermit quarters" to Futo)

So yeah, she goes enough spell cards and variety to her that screams potential character. But only ZUN will decide this....

Other notable character to be considered (mostly as an assist as a shooter) are likely Mamizou, Seiga, and Kasen.

Mamizou mainly due to needed chacter development (since she does hang with Reimu) and also would make a good Kiki-Kaikai reference.

Seiga mainly for futher character development since it make me curious why she would choose to take such a evil path that would drive many people to hate her (despite being cheerful)

And finally Kasen because of the fact ZUN did actually consider her once in TD, only to get Mamizou instead. And also because I got a hunch she'll start appearing in the game in some form AFTER the WaHH series is complete. She already has this mentor role she plays with Reimu so it wouldn't surprise me if she continues to be of some assistance somehow. (also would like to see ZUNtastic Kasen art)

Also all 4 also scream fighter potential for future Touhou fighters.

I agree Kasen will make an appearance but it will probably be as an final/extra boss revealed as a 4 deva oni.

Seiga doesn't strike me as an obvious playable at all. Futo would be the best choice from TD as she has an interesting personality.

I think Ichirin would be fun but it's more likely to be Shou if it's a character from UFO.

I'd also see Koishi as a possible playable if she really is starting to gain a (slight) personality as hinted.
