What do you guys do for fun?

Everything seems like a chore and a waste of time to me these days. I wish I had some hobbies that actually would give me a sense of fulfillment or accomplishment.

I'm doing that right now. I went to bed at 10pm last night and woke up at 3pm today. It's now 11pm and I've literally done nothing all day.

I like it.
You just need to find some genres you enjoy.
Personally, I enjoy sci-fi, conspiracy theories, historical (fiction or not) books, some fantasy, some 20th century literature classics (Kafka, Camus, etc) and biology/medicine textbooks.
Fiction can stimulate your imagination and escapist instincts much like dreams, games, etc, and non-fiction helps you sate your curiosity and instigates your thirst for knowledge!

Not the one you replied to, however I hope you will find my opinion of any use.

I dislike listening to most of classical music because of the sudden shifts that can be quite stressing. If you're picky and take time finding and preparing beforehand what you will listen to while reading, you would probably gain great use of it. I personally prefer electronic music, I find that pretty much everything without lyrics works well. And since there's a great deal variation, it may be easier to get into than classical music.

I have no idea what music you've listened to in the past, so you might not like these albums (at least not at this stage). Some of my favourite albums I'd recommend if you feel interest are Gas (Modern, Zauberberg, Konigsforst, Pop), Songs From The Beehive, Klaus Schulze (Irrlicht), Tangerine Dream (Zeit, Rubycon, Phaedra), Arp - The Soft Wave, Ryuichi Sakamoto (Insen, Out of Noise), Sean McCann - The Capital, Basic Channel (BCD), Midtown 120 Blues, Morgan Packard, Lifestyles of The Laptop Cafe.

If you want more, discogs is a great source. All the albums off Resident Advisor's top albums of the decade are definitely worth listening to.

My preferred form of pirating is using file host indexers (filetram and filestube) and torrents for the non-recent more popular stuff.
