Should I get a bamboo Splash or a capture?

The splash is just the old cheapest model except renamed since it now comes with Artrage 3. I never hear many people saying they use it since everyone just uses SAI though.

The capture really seemed to be sticking out since it comes with photoshop elements and multitouch which I assume is useful for quick scrolling and zooming? How useful reallu is multitouch? Is it worth the extra 20 dollars for the multutouch and the photoshop?

I'm new to digital drawing so I assume the smaller tabs are fine and I dont need to pay double to go up to the bamboo create size.

I dont see many people drawing Dog Days art so I would like to be able to do some of the requests. Ran's also my favorite touhou so doing some stuff of her would be great as well but scanning drawings is such a pain in the ass.

Breasts are a completely different size
Head is an oblate spheroid
Hand is a problem but lets just leave that aside for now.
Your vertical perspective is wrong, you keep switching from downward to upward angles.
Left arm's elbow is too high
Hair looks to be on one plane
Straight suspenders break the illusion of a 3d shape
Belt/waist/top of skirt makes no sense
Calves have no shape
Lower body area underneath breasts till the hips is too long
Wrinkles on clothes don't make sense.

Now that thats out of the way.
Don't use an airbrush type tool for shadows, practice by drawing hard lines so you have a well defined area mapped out.
Don't be afraid of having a messy drawing, singe clean strokes can never produce the types of curves of the human body.
Study some anatomy, reading even one or two chapters of Michael Hampton's figure drawing book can really help.

You would probably be better off not actually using felt at all. Felt is one of the worst sewing and building materials for something like a plush. You'd be better off using something softer, like fleece, or even cotton for the dress. Anything but felt man.

I was interested in making polymer clay figures (see pic) as a new hobby, hopefull to ebb my depression because I get very frustrated with painting.
I really love miniatures and crafting. I would like to make little touhou girls and sew them little tiny clothes and make tiny props for them as well.
Touhou girls are just to attractive, they would make lovely figures.

I seriously swear that's Shiina Kazuki's art. He does tons of kemonomimi doujins, and I would bet that's just another name of his.

Bakebare is probably the best foxgirl doujin and its translated. Chapter 2 is the chapter with the diapers and is really cute but they all have puffy vulvas.

Might be a fun and easy project to do. Makes me want to make a collection of doll dresses and silly hats to illustrate. Also makes me wish I could do it in 3D.

Why do I have a "success rate"? How do I get rid of it? Drawing is not a matter of trial and error. Experienced artists don't even need the eraser tool because they already know where everything should go. And yet I still can't convert spheres into faces unless I manage to get lucky enough to place the lines right where I want them to be. It's been months and I'm still in square one... I know I need to take classes, but working 6 days a week makes it impossible

Draw lines light/thin until you "find" the right lines amongst the rubbish and strengthen them. Even successful artists use this method. I'd suggest not using an eraser at all, leave the bad left-over lines, they'll slowly lessen in numbers as you learn.

Was practicing analyzing the harmonies of some of my favorites songs. This one is from CROSS+CHANNEL ED. Also added some orchestral instruments to make it sound a bit more interesting than just chords. If someone wants the chord sheet, let me know - only removed the intro part (it was basically just just the E minor chord) and changed the last two chords of the second repeat of the outro to make it actually sound like an ending.

Well, the toolset definitely feels superior, it's jut that there's so much complex stuff here that I can't figure out what's closest to the simple tools I used in SAI. There's a million brushes, but none that resemble the marker tool in SAI, and I have no clue how to fabricate one properly.

I half moved because SAI stopped working properly for me as well(can't save anything but .psd), but also because there's some really interesting things you can do regarding lining and color with the vectors in IllustStudio, which I haven't really gotten to try either.

The limbs sections are supposed to be equal long.
Her right arm is too short and it's weird overall probably because of the position.
The hands are too big and the feet too small.
The neck is too twisted back, also the head should come from a diferent angle.
Finally the whole position is unnatural unless she was hit by a truck from behind.

I use MMD. It's quite easy, although finding the models you want might be hard...

Just get the model in position, render to picture file and start drawing lines above it in your favorite image editing program.

Most of the time I draw the hair and clothes on my own and just use the model for body proportions and some perspective. But lately I been thinking of stop using it, since this way I'm not properly learning how to draw.

Certainly my favorite Ran doujin. I think the artist is a woman? The artist's characters always look so sweet and delicate and have an innocent aura of femininity around them. Alright, I have a request, if someone would like to draw it.

In the fighting games Yukari has an attack where she disappears into a gap only to come out of another one a moment later to
attack the other girl (That's her 241B. All the attacks have proper names, but they are generally referred to by their input).
Further, Komachi has one that allows her to switch places with her opponent (22B).

We just had a game where the Komachi player switched places while the Yukari player was still in her gap, and I thought it would
be hilarious if Komachi ended up lost in Yukari's dimension (You know the one. Creepy eyes everywhere.)

If someone would make an 4koma like art of that, I will use the picture to make the next Netplay Thread as soon as the old one expires.

Was just trying out an multi-instrument rack for Symphobia. Didn't actually do any orchestration for this but it came out better than expected. The main point of the exercise for me was just to figure out all the chords. Maybe do - or have someone else do - an acoustic guitar/piano version later on.

Here's the midi for you to import into Sibelius. I'm pretty sure the voicings for the chords aren't all correct - I "spelled" them out more explicitly just for the sake of clarity.

Whenever I did any transcription work I never wrote them down, so all I have are midis of my own compositions... which are all incomplete. The only finished piece i have is a clubdance one, but I'm not particularly fond of it. Though, it is the only presentable one.
