I talk slightly faster than normal when I'm excited, or about a topic that's near and dear to my heart. Sometimes I'll stutter if I'm really flustered. It's not very cute; I fucking hate it.

I was once told by the gas-station lady that I have a very soft voice (she couldn't hear me asking for a pack of cigs)

It was very embarrassing but that's the only time in my life someone made a comment on my voice.

Practically every phone call where the person on the other end doesn't already know me, assumes I'm a girl. Even after I tell them my name.

I actually rather like it, since I'm too lazy to make myself look like a girl.

Clear and always audible, I ensure it is.

My hearing fucked itself two years ago and now I don't have time for timid people who don't speak clearly.
I think it's only fair if I demand that others speak clearly I do so myself.

I have kind of a bad voice. I don't talk much for that reason.

Naturally, I have a deep, quiet voice; most people, even my own parents don't understand me when I speak like this. When speaking to anyone, I use a "fake" voice, basically I speak like I'm 14 and a bit aggressively but politely, just because I really don't want to sound so quiet that I have to repeat myself.

I hate it, because my natural tone feels so much calmer to me; it's weird, I sometimes forget what I REALLY sound like.

Learn to hide threads. There are days when I hide all threads on the front page and there are days when all threads on the front page are unhidden/interesting. Now I only have 3-4 threads hidden on the front page. This one not included as I don't mind general discussion as long as it's not too stupid or not too "normal fag"-related (if it's something the regulars of this board would be interested in, it's okay, if it's something completely unrelated made by an outsider, it's not).

Variable. It kind of changes depending on who I speak to and what I want to project (such as people who know me vs those who don't).

I kind of sound deeper and more serious, more polite to unknown/new people. More lighter, although probably not quite "girly" to those that I'm friendly with, still usually polite, but with less limits/more casual. It can also depend on context.

If I would have an intent of befriending someone, I would act more casual. But consider the case of talking to someone at work, or interacting with people you would probably never be friends with - no need to act casual with them. I suppose if a sudden friendship were to happen, sure, but then you'd know early on.

I don't think it's any different from noticing if one's attitude toward someone changes or not. I think I gave it most thought when I was trying to identify my inner voice and how it differs from how I typically speak, and then it became a lot more noticeable.

Sound does differ too. Usually deeper voice when with strangers, lighter when with friends.

My voice is too soft, apparently. I can never get a consistent pitch. Sometimes it sounds girly, sometimes manly.

I talk very fast, stutter a lot, and say some words wrong or just fuck up the whole sentence.

Most of the times my voice barely have the strength to come out, it doesn't help my throat is a bit screwed now, so I often I sound like a man dying of tuberculosis.

Otherwise my voice is average, a bit deep but also "soft", though I speak roughly because I'm an uneducated fuck. I also speak kinda fast and I mess up words because i'm not good with words.

I sound like Gilbert Gottfried, but without the annoyingness, a tad quieter, and a fair bit deeper of a voice.
