So, what you guys sound like when talking?

My voice is basically whispering, croaking and it raises in parts where i get passionate into high-pitched. This chills the blood of my conversational partners. And i got nickname "scarecrow" because of it.

>> No.8771406

I talk slightly faster than normal when I'm excited, or about a topic that's near and dear to my heart. Sometimes I'll stutter if I'm really flustered. It's not very cute; I fucking hate it.

I was once told by the gas-station lady that I have a very soft voice (she couldn't hear me asking for a pack of cigs)

Like a girl's, apparently.
Practically every phone call where the person on the other end doesn't already know me, assumes I'm a girl. Even after I tell them my name.

I actually rather like it, since I'm too lazy to make myself look like a girl.

>> No.8771493

Clear and always audible, I ensure it is.

My hearing fucked itself two years ago and now I don't have time for timid people who don't speak clearly.
I think it's only fair if I demand that others speak clearly I do so myself.

>> No.8771493,1 [INTERNAL]

I speak quietly. I noticed this just a few days ago. My voice is also deep, which makes it seem quieter than it actually is.

The only thing I like about my speech at all is my word choice and pronunciation.

Naturally, I have a deep, quiet voice; most people, even my own parents don't understand me when I speak like this. When speaking to anyone, I use a "fake" voice, basically I speak like I'm 14 and a bit aggressively but politely, just because I really don't want to sound so quiet that I have to repeat myself.

I hate it, because my natural tone feels so much calmer to me; it's weird, I sometimes forget what I REALLY sound like.

Can happen, but how many times did you become friend with someone without first considering if the option was there (either if you would be interested, or if it could happen by "accident")?
> But suddenly. So that's why they don't really give much attention to it.
If there is any intention or possibility of it happening, I would use a more casual voice, but if not, why bother?
> But it is strange that you acknowledge this change yourself.
I don't think it's any different from noticing if one's attitude toward someone changes or not. I think I gave it most thought when I was trying to identify my inner voice and how it differs from how I typically speak, and then it became a lot more noticeable.

Ahh... Don't worry. You just lack one important step. You must emulate thoughts of other person while you speak. Not just your own. You might feel that you are more right on subject that you are emulating our own thoughts on it. But that isn't always necessarily correct. To achieve clear final picture, you must think it from many other sides. If you believe truth is the answer for everything. That's it.
