The thing about brushing my teeth though is that it's too much of a chore to do. With the late nights and waking up near evening, I just have no 'time' to fix brushing my teeth in my life at all.

I brush and floss multiple times each day and yet it's always orange between my teeth. No amount of flossing seems to get rid of it. On another note, I've been spending an hour each day on skin care for over a year, and yet I still get hideous white heads. Additionally, I get 10-12 hours of sleep each night and yet I have extremely baggy, bloodshot eyes with visible veins inside of the bags. OP again, I just drank half a bottle coke.

>> No.8666177

My teeth are one hell of a mess, probably amplified by how much coke I drink (easily at least 4 cans worth a day) and how little I brush (once ever 4-7 days). For a starter, they're all yellow. Not a single one of them is actually white. My bottom front four teeth also have some of this on both the front and back - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calculus_%28dental%29 -, although not as bad as that wikipedia picture. The major problem with my teeth though is receding gums. I've always brushed really hard, which was fine as my mom's always coincidentally bought soft toothbrushes. One day she replaced mine and didn't tell me it was really hard, so I practically shredded most of my gums enough that I can feel the roots. I can even see the roots on my bottom front teeth.

I've not been to a dentist since I was about 6 or something. I couldn't possibly go now even if I had perfect teeth.

>> No.8666178

I also don't know where this dentist is, and even if I did, I can't drive and haven't been on a bus in year (which I wouldn't be able to handle anyway due to anxiety). Then there's the actual dentist... I couldn't take such personal contact up close alone with someone I don't know.

To summarise, I'd need to ask my mom a favor to book the appointment and drive me there. I'm already asking her enough favors as it is being a worthless NEET who's never worked a day in his life. My ass would collapse from panic the second I go through the door. Hell, it would collapse just telling my mom about it. It's basically impossible.

The entire procedure is basically this.

To explain further the tooth is dead on the inside, root and tissues are rotten forming that green pool of crap at one of the roots.

Tooth gets drilled out, and motherfucker goes in there and scraps out all the dead rotting crap with a small hand drill, note even though your tooth is technically dead you will still feel some sensations as some nerve endings are probably still alive in there. Ranging from tingling to ohmygodfuckyouwhatareyoudoinginthere.

However the real uncomfortable shit is when the dentist is trying to pinpoint which tooth to drill out, remember that pimple pus? This is where that asshole comes in.

That green cesspit forming at one of the roots of your teeth sometimes surfaces on your gums as that pimple of pus, so the dentist sticks this flexible toothpick in that shit and pushes it all the way in following the route of the pus flow to the root of the guilty tooth. Once that's done the drilling starts proper.

Enjoy your world of pain.

I lived most of my life up until 18 y/o not giving my teeth proper care. Then I ended up having dental problems so bad that for one of my teeth, any longer before getting a filling would have required a root canal without question. That basically scared me shitless, so after that day I willed myself to stop drinking soda/any carbonated drink really, as well as brushing flossing and using mouth rinse at least once a day. It's been about 3 years now, nearing my 21st birthday, and the only problem I've had was a chip in one of my previous big fillings that had to get fixed. Oh my, that would be absolutely wonderful, especially if the dentist is a gentle but slightly sadistic elder sister. Imagine a simple dental filling, for example - you'd be so close to her that she'd be able to read your every expression yet speaking would be impossible and you'd be under her complete control, so her dental drill would freely go in and outside your mouth and violate the previous sanctity of your teeth as she cleans the cavity with a lewd smile, until she reaches her limit and fills your teeth with her thick, white resin - forever marking your body as hers. And when she'd finished, she'd lean against you and thank you for keeping her company, her large breasts pressing tightly against your body and her cute, youthful face inches away from yours, but when you try to react, she'd merely tease you for being a pervert who lusts after his blood-related sister and leave, trying to hide her own blushing face and the wet spot on her skirt.

Of course, you'd later find her masturbating in her own room with dozens of photos depicting nothing but her own little brother's open mouth and fearful face as she looms over him with a drill, the high-pitched whine of another dental drill masking her cute moans as she thrusts the backside of a dentist's mirror inside herself (being a proper dental fetishist, she'd keep a full set of spare equipment at home for practice and personal use.) This'd be your cue to hug her from behind and tell her that you'll love her no matter what her preferences are, though you'd regret it a bit when you find yourself strapped on your sister's bed, the pleasure brought by the warm touch of her naked body and her recently deflowered maidenhood clamping on your penis offset by the fact that she's staring at your open mouth with her favorite drill and no anesthetic at hand, wondering out loud whether you do need root canal treatment after all.

I actually love going to the dentist, and they even extracted from me a molar tooth that was inflamed and was falling literally apart, I think since that day I've never been the same.
PS: drills are sexy.

I used to go months without brushing my teeth, but nowadays I brush daily. I've never had a cavity (that I know of anyway; I haven't been to the dentist in probably five years since I'm a hikikomori).

As awesome as dentures would be, I'm afraid I have bad news.

So a better option would be to disregard flawed teeth/jaw and replace with superior augment/prothetic.

I don't want to live on this planet anymore. I'm so glad I just saw the dentist and had a bunch of cavities filled this last November. Completely 100% worth all the money.

I think it may be time to take my labret out though. That shit has receded the gums of my front two bottom teeth like crazy... I just can't imagine not wearing it though.

>> No.8672539

NEET doesn't mean you have to be gross.
I still try to be hygenic, eat right, and get some sun when I can.

Inherently bad teeth suck... I feel bad for ya, bro.

>> No.8672667

When I hear about things like this, it makes me feel a little less shitty about having crooked teeth. They're not even THAT bad (bad enough to make me not want to smile showing my teeth and make me insecure), but I'd still take them over having inherently bad teeth. I feel for you, man.

Honestly, I went to the dentist late last year and I was incredibly embarrassed. I ended up having to get 7 cavities filled and I was embarrassed as fuck. I almost had more that were just bordering on being cavities but were still in the safe zone. Just go, you'll be very thankful that you did. I can tell you right now that they don't judge you at all. I even openly voiced how embarrassed I was about the state of my teeth, and the response I got was that they were there to help and make things better, not to judge. And honestly, they've probably seen a lot worse.

Just go. You'll regret it if you don't do it before it's too late. It was worth every single penny I spent.

>> No.8675916

Nonsense. If I have learned anything in my time here, is that there is no line.

The pain, however, must be unimaginable. If it hurts so much even after being pumped full of anesthetic, you have to wonder how much it hurt to NOT have any anesthetic. God, just imagining it makes my spine tingle with goosebumps.

And that brings me back to that one scene in the adaptation of the darker than black fanfic.

Please brush your teeth at least once a day, /jp/. One of my relatives almost never brushed his teeth. He just used mouth wash saying that it was just as good as brushing his teeth and now he already has an artificial set of teeth at the age of 44....

i hope "artificial set of teeth" is a correct english term...

I brush my teeth once every other day at the most, and the last time I went to the dentist they told me everything looks pretty good aside from a little bit of plaque build up here and there.

It probably helps that I brush my teeth for about ten minutes and then purge my mouth with mouthwash.
