During SA she said that she wouldn't have to listen to Satori anymore because of her new power. But even after the incident and her defeat, she still decides to stay with her.

Them being her pets isn't dependent on whether or not they like her though. They could hate her all they want to but they would still be her pets. Now someone that would stay with her even without the obligation of being her pet would make them her friend, better yet, someone that would be able to tell her she's wrong or shouldn't do something no matter how much they like them because they care about them would make an even better friend. The fact is because they are her pets negates whether or not they are her friends just because of the very nature of them being a pet to her. An example of someone that could be considered a friend would be if someone went to her on their own decision, not because her home was their home, someone that would be able to not be concerned about her mind reading because they could accept it as something she was born with, not because that's the only way they've ever known her, and someone that would be able to tell her that they would still be her friend no matter if she started to hate them because their care for her exceeded their own personal feelings about themselves, and not because of a sense of unconditional love that doesn't require any kind of consideration of yourself. Now her pets might fit both roles as being a pet and a friend to her, but they still aren't a real friend who has no personal or emotional attachment prerequisites to her but would still choose to be with her out of their own volition. It would be different if her pets had come to her without even knowing who she was before hand, but the fact is that they probably always knew her.
