So I sadly I never play even though I am relatively versed in /tg/ material.
Being a vivid fan of Earthdawn/Shadowrun, Mutants & Masterminds. But also outright freeforming, Tri-Stat or other universal systems.
Community created games like GGG are great too.

Threads exploring ideas for new settings are great too though, that's a great way to escape into a world of ideas.
Like Empty World, or On the backs of gods, or whatnot. Both were entertaining.

Regarding the idea of "knife-ears", the trend of portraying fae creatures with exceedingly large/long ears was actually very prominent western trend, that has existed for quite some while in western fantasy art but most notably so during the 80s.
And it is indeed not a Japanese idea, contrary to popular belief.
When they made Lodoss War or whatnot though, they catched this trend from the west.

I have considered doing this, and I almost went through with it a couple of times.
I have just been a bit worried of how it would go in the end, as well as what would potentially happen if I missed a session for whatever the reason.
But I was thinking of giving it another shot sometime.

Exactly like anything else: If you find the right group, it can be amazing, but not every game you find is going to work out.

Warn people ahead of time if at all possible. Try to show up if at all possible. If you miss one or two sessions due to reasons you can't prevent, then no one but the most anal group is going to complain (and you wouldn't want to play with them anyway.) That said, they'll probably go on without you and you'll miss a bit of the game. Not the biggest deal, just something you don't want to happen if you can prevent it.

Alright, let's assume that our slave is actually a drone assassin.

Her ears as established are obviously Impromptu knives used for stabbing or throwing or whatever. The actual ears being the handles, with the blades sticking right into the head.
Not to be cliché, but her rack is likely made up of some kind of explosives, grenades or explosive plastic or whatever.
Her shell is likely made up of all kinds of hidden things designed to blow up your shit, and possibly even stealing your wealth.

Remember, don't trust the slaver, never trust the slaver. They always tries to pull off something shady.
