You cant gank someone that has a 5 second cd blink and 99% magic resist and will inevitably get a vanguard. Unless the stars align and they dont have wards and you all surround antimage and you all have 5 stuns. Its not going to happen before 30 minutes.

Blink is a broken skill in anyone, thus the dagger heavy nerf and QoP skills rape. But still is not "that" broken if we compare it to old beasts like .52 Soul keeper, new rmk'd lycan or pre-ult rmk brood mother who could walk around with bkb killing the 3 supporters without problem and have full hp at the end.
Any high DPS carry or heavy disable can deal with him, CK as example. Other thing is that AM is heavy farmed and beyond help, but blame enemy team and not the hero in that case.

AM is indeed overpowered and is still constantly picked in dota1, mostly in Asia because they still play the trilane meta often, but also in general if not going against heavy push team. In DotA2, he's just simply broken due to the limited hero pool.

However, that doesn't mean that DotA is shit and that you instawin the moment you pick AM (play cm nerds), you can still severely outplay the other team.

I've never had problems with AM, even in DotA2 without his counters. I play QoP mostly, and whenever hes picked after my QoP pick, I just dominate his teammates, get a huge gold lead, and wreck him lategame with linkens and hex. Long as I initiate onto him with a little team followup, hes out of the fight before he can react, even if I have to blink into his team to hex him, his underfarmed teammates can't take me out before blink CD is up.
