It's called having a taste of your own medicine.

That video only worked because of other characters involved in it. You get the sense of scale and grandeur seeing the corridors of Scarlet Devil Mansion. You identify with the inhabitants and ideologies behind them. Only to see them suffer a horrible genocide few seconds later. You are filled with rage and despair and you feel terrible for every person that suffers a blow. The rest of the video you express anger towards Flandre that the characters set out to destroy.
