You need to do more things to play this game than are reasonable:

1. You need a non-flagged Japanese proxy or VPN.
2. You need to be in JP locale.
3. You need to change your operating system to be Japanese.

1 and 2 are easy enough. 3 is explicitly different than 2 and can potentially be impossible if you have the wrong OS.

You can use a program called Vistalizator to change your OS to Japanese. And if that doesn't work on your OS, it should provide you with enough keywords to figure out how to do it on a different OS, or to figure out you can't play JP Tera.

Also note when you change your OS to Japanese, everything, EVERYTHING, is Japanese. The only English remaining will be in non-windows programs that are only in English and the files you named in English. If you can't read kana or don't have a friend who does to whine at and plead help from, you probably shouldn't do this.

Needless to say, the game is entirely in Japanese as well. You will need a Japanese credit card to pay the monthly fees.
