I experience a sinking feeling in my stomach when I see people using their iPads in place of an actual camera. It's horrible.

Lately I've been wanting to try a mirrorless system. The larger sensor and peak focusing of the NEX system appeal to me. I have some old glass to slap on it so I've been looking on eBay for auctions that only have a body. They're surprisingly cheap.

Phone cameras are getting to the point where they're pretty good for family photos.
Some days I think I'd like to perhaps be a photographer, but without training, I wouldn't be able to make a living off it, and perhaps doubtful even if I did. It's a pretty saturated market.
Phone cameras are good because of their form factor however. Tablet cameras combine subpar quality with the awkwardness of taking pictures with a tablet. I have to question why it was even included.
