extra sucks

Just started Extra but it's shit so far.

I thought it was pretty damn great but I had major issues with its story at several points and I didn't like the pacing really. That said the awesome moments were really awesome so I can understand why some consider it their favorite.

I liked it a lot.

I love it, after reading Alternative I need to re-read Extra and Unlimited.

It's amazing if you like mecha.

Hated the characters, pacing, everything in Unlimited.
Extra was somewhat entertaining, everything else felt like a colossal waste of time. Don't see why everyone considers it a masterpiece, then again it's not the first time. it happens so I don't give a fuck.
Oh, yeah, I consider genre change as the most cheap and insulting literary device, so that's too.

I disliked it, because like every otaku thing with military elements, nobody acted like soldiers and instead they had that stupid aura of a frustrated teenager.

Alternative was a huge disappointment, I kept hearing people say how great it was, calling it one of the best vn ever released. I found it good at best. Plenty of faults and not nearly enough virtues to make up for them.

Muv-luv Alternative is a babby's first VN of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of setting and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive forced drama and DEATH. The NEET anon can see this as the shit it is, and may enjoy it, hate it or be indifferent to it, but all the while recognizing that the series itself, regardless of their opinion, is plain bad.

However, these very aspects that try to smear over the shit of its core make it a breeding ground for normal, sociable, underage faggots who engage in every kind of faggotry both online and in the real world. The aliens all trying their hardest to look cool, the gore, the peculiar, colorful mecha, the whole "tentacle rape" faggotry and everything about the Muv-luv Alternative world fuels their escapist fantasies, while the pity-party character backgrounds, emphasis on GRIMDARK, and the overall preachiness of the whole series make it fit just right with the mary-sueish drives of your average preteen and his sense of unwarranted self-importance towards the world. Exactly the kind of shit that makes normals and underage retards eat this shit right the fuck up.

Muv-luv Alternative is basically THE series to attract the most hated visual novel fanbase known to /jp/, which is why, regardless of individual opinions, it is the responsibility of every anon to troll the fuck out of this franchise and everyone who likes it, and ensure that no Muv-luv Alternative threads ever encourage the normalfags to show their faces here.
