Stealth. I've always had a thing for things that are nimble and quick... and managing to kill enemies from afar is also great.

If no touhou is classed under stealth, then I'd probably go for a witch since mages are my second favourite.

Melee combat is fun because of the power you feel behind your hits. Smashing your enemies into the ground is so much more satisfying than just shooting at them.

I used to play mages and ranged guys exclusively and shared this opinion of tanks and warriors, but then I actually tried playing as one.
Biggest thrill I've ever had in an MMO. It feels awesome to be in there in the thick of it, going toe-to-toe with monsters twice your size. All these ogres and demons are raining down hits on you, and you just shrug it off and lay into them. It feels MUCH more badass than shooting magic or bullets at them from the sidelines.

Immortals would actually make sense in a way. Most MMOs have you "die" then brought back to life or knocked out. Kaguya and Mokou kill each other all of the time, why can't this happen to Eirin as well?

Tanking can be okay just for the sheer feeling of being indestructible. But yeah, I like the balanced damage dealers, high damage, okay defenses and speed. I don't mind long range combat, but I only like it when it's used to complement short range. Force a spammy long range guy to get closer, then get to beating them down.

Sit back and cast heal while the others do the dirty work. Plus they're always in demand so there's no trouble finding a party.

Mishievious Fairy. Low damage but able to respawn and play pranks on others that inflict negative status effects on enemies. Also ability to steal from humans. Would be hard but possible.
