I'd take my chances with Yuyuko and Eirin.

If I join Yuyuko will I become like Youmu with my spirit outside of my body or will I become one of those spirits floating around the tree?

I'd rather go beg Eirin for the elixir and instead get a long history lesson from Kaguya on treasures from the moon from than be a spirit with no freedom.

That's the thing about the Touhou universe. Being an immortal isn't actually about living longer, it is about choosing your preferred lifestyle.

There are actual disadvantages in being a true immortal. Like the fact that you are banned from visiting any land of the dead. While partial immortal options are numerous.

All this means the oldfan worry about Sakuya dying of old age is just silly. Death is only the beginning. And if Sakuya really want to stay, there is no reason why she can't stay at the mansion as a ghost maid.

Where is the option to work as a maid at the SDM?

IIRC, you can't stay at Muenzuka. It is just a place where you go after you die so you can be assigned to either Hakugyokurou, Hell (which may or may not be the Old Hell where Chireiden is) or reincarnation. So, visiting the Yama is inevitable as long as your aren't a true immortal, but staying with her is impossible (unless you manage to get hired by the Ministry of What's Wrong and What's Right, that is).

I'd go for the Hourai Elixir. If Eirin refuses, I'd blackmail Eientei with moontravel.
