Also that ties count as losses is sad, and playing a character with week magic abilities makes low attack spam be the best option in almost every case(likewise with low magic spam for magic users I imagine). Only useful to use a low magic attack for me if I think they are using high attack to stop them in their tracks, but even then I could just also use high attack and win out.

Also, people that disconnect rather then die rage me. It would be fucking Sanae too. Happens half the time I'm about to beat a higher level character.

I'm willing to give most people the benefit of the doubt since connections drop fairly often, though I've played at least one guy I'm sure disconnects on purpose.

I think displaying win ratios does more harm than good right now, since it encourages that sort of behavior and doesn't tell much about the player's actual skill level. In practice some people are more willing to fight higher-level opponents, play with weaker Touhous, etc. It might be different if it tracked win/loss separately for each character, but as is it's not very useful.

This is my one issue: After playing with my friends for a while, I get a little pissed and say ONE COMMENT, and get banned. Then the admin just keeps saying "Read the FAQ" when I ask why.

So one comment, not even serious, gets me a ban.

Yet rampant spam prior to this only gets muted.

I'll happily never fucking speak in chat again if I just get my account back, fuck.

My Touhou has balanced stats in just about everything. I've noticed that medium-high defense costs no mana and will greatly reduce shot damage from everything that's not above medium-high shot. It makes for too good of a stall in comparison to evasion.

I look forward to seeing how the numbers tweak, since I only use high evasion against ONE player (simply because his DEX is at a point where my low-attack will dodge all but one while my evasion will dodge all of them; every other player result in 1/3 regardless of choice with low-attack dealing ~30-40 damage)

In your case, it may be that you have pretty decent MDEF compared to your opponents MATK, so it really depends. The buff of defense was due to it being very underpowered during the previous stage of the game, so I guess we'd just have to add this to the list of things that need to be revised.

What about when I'm at 80/100 while he is at 96/120?

What I understand so far is that it works off a percentage, for starters. Likewise, the higher the stat for each action (Like ATK for Attack, obviously), the more MP it will take - although you shouldn't notice too much of a difference as you level. There was a point in the game where Ichirin was so powerful, she would lose all her MP in two attacks.
So, in your situation, the player with 120 MP could potentially do more actions if his MATK, for example, is low. They would be weak shots, but he could do a lot of them.

I have confirmed that only my account was blocked. As for the reason, they probably didn't like me using the server to myself during the whole summer. It might stay like this until next session for all I know, so I'm not expecting it back.
