I know it's not typically on-topic to ask for tech help, but this relates to h-games... twice now when I try to play games in the Japanese applocale, they function normally in windowed mode. But if I maximize them, I get stuck in a black screen (with game background music playing). It cannot be closed with alt+F4, tabbing over to the desktop (Windows 7 by the way), or ctrlaltdel. It requires a hard restart of my computer. Also, the games usually remember to open in Maximized mode and thus become unplayable to me. Anyone know what the problem might be? On my old WinXP box, maximized games were never a problem.

I just need to be able to toggle back to Windowed mode, or preferably figure out how to get Maximized mode displaying properly. This has stopped me from playing Rance and Monster Girl Quest now ;_; any ideas, anons?
