Even if Rin could delivered and "kill" once Berserker, she's done it with the help of others. 1vs1 with Ciel would be extremely difficult, if not impossible.

Fuck, he didn't decide to make him an intimidating force until after Tsukihime was released, and when he did he made him a nigh Type level threat in his original form with Overdrive, which is basically fully automatic, rapid-fire fully-charged Ea. And then he explained Roa's lack of such skills in Tsukihime as "he regains the knowledge of his past-lives gradually," or something like that, which basically means if he waits around long enough he can remember eight hundred years of magical knowledge, including how to recreate Chaos (AND CONTROL IT), which basically boosts Roa up to Type levels of power.

And now he can't decide whether to keep him alive or not. Never heard that before. Sauce please.

Akiha? He, while in Nanaya mode essentially stated that she has the better power. Yet he still was able to kill her once he focused himself.

Nero? He was getting his ass kicked even when he swapped over to Nanaya mode. The only diffirence was that he was actually killing stuff at the price of pain. But that was the only real way to do damage and in the end,he won.

Roa? Not really a "BATMAN" moment but he was able to find out what Roa/SHIKI's power really did and instilled a fear in him that allowed him to get a clean hit.

Pissed off Arcuied? He knew he could not beat her and you know what the fucker did? He figured out that the only way to stop her was to kill nature(Or the earths influence or something) in that area. Nearly caused his brain to explode but hey,that is Arcuieds one true weakness.

The focus on fighting nonsense works for Fate and Melty Blood, but not for Tsukihime. The manga leaves a lot to be desired, especially with the characters.

At least there's character development in the anime, as Shiki turns from spineless wimp into a man who can handle things.
