.
Not only do you offer nothing but further confirmation of your absolute useless presence on /jp/ but continue to push forward drama and misinformed nonsense as a shameless means to bolster your ego in a fight against something you don't even understand in the first place.

Not only this but you go as far as to pandering and to some of the worst trolls and outsiders the thread has seen on this board to supposedly prop up your defense of essentially nothing to make yourself feel better. When it is clearly displayed that you have been rejected by the anonymous, you take the petty and low level step of attaching your failure to actions of previous anonymous as if it is your right to even question it.

What is truly laughable, is this notion that you even have a right to feel any sort of outrage, other than being a self absorbed, avataring forum faggot who is purely parasitic in nature, not getting his feed for free and not be able to ramble non-nonsensical disconnected shit no one wants to hear.

Not only can you not comprehend what it would mean to even run a thread, you do so in a way that is the worst display of bottom feeding that should ever be displayed and is completely foreign to the very nature of /jp/.

You don't even deserve an explanation of the old thread any more, you are purely a traitor and directly jeopardize the possibility of a future thread on /jp/

True, maybe we should just wait it out. That must've been Koibito Tsunagi which is a favorite of mine, it's so well done that I can't help but recommend it (kaori-i_dvd_01&2 are equally good). Kaolyrical is the usual 2ch recommendation if you're looking for a more traditional IV though.

I have only finished one so far (Fukasawa Yuuki's Sunshine~バリバリゆうき~, the one I encoded the clip from that I asked you to have a look at). Then I tried to rip Mana's Baby Face where I encountered a problem with QTGMC's automatic field order detection (at least I assume that's the cause for the weird stuttering in the resulting video). I'm sure there is a way to manually specify the type of interlacing in the script, but my laziness has prevented me from looking into it further. I'll have another go at it once the whole interview stuff is over.

No, they aren't. They make statements such as "virginity is for losers", roll around in skimpy lingerie and constantly make unabashed sexual innuendos. They are the epitome of Ero-idols. I'm not sure if you think I'm calling them impure human beings because I'm not. "Pure Idol" is an actual term, most of them died off in the 80s. I don't have anything against AKB, I used to be into them in 2006, this isn't me bashing them, I'm simply stating a FACT. Ero-idols and Pure-idols are two different monsters.

The 48 started off as more of a Pure Idol group but guess what? They weren't popular. So they prescribed to the age-old marketing strategy of SEX SELLS. Now they are really popular, and not because of anything else.

This shipment is just one piece of the insider CD campaign pyramid.

Having 200+ faceless and mostly talentless idols flooded into the idol industry based mostly upon their bodies, bloodtype and rotations requires massive media blitzkrieging and does not happen suddenly or naturally.

Inside investors, retailers, mass marketers, campaign gimmicks, management, and hardcore agents working hand in hand to propagate an idol structure that is built upon the worst aspects of Japanese misogyny while roping in the fad following public to believe that a idol group with estimates of 50 - 70k wota population tops can not only change the entire nature of Oricon rankings and sales figures but also do so in a flash manner that is absolutely improbable and in-congruent to the sales patterns of the most popular acts in Japan on the Oricon, today and in the past.

This version of idols cashes in on all the worst aspects of Japan society and will have long lasting negative societal impacts no matter how hard they attempt to prop up and re-brand. Essentially a point of no return moment, enjoy your whore infused idol industry stars.

High settings, with AA and AF enabled. It runs at 25-30 FPS most of the time which is more than I was hoping for, considering my hardware is a bit dated.

It's better in almost every aspect and my personal GOTY so far. It's got dynamic combat, well-written dialog, beautiful graphics and an engaging story (though I had to consult the ingame Journal sometimes to keep up with what's going on). My only complaint is the small amount of sidequests compared to TW1, although the ones that are there are usually pretty interesting.

Is there an intro on the disc (logos, copyright, etc)? Because in my experience these usually have no audio and need to be compensated for. In which case you just open up its vob, convert its length to milliseconds and add it to the delay.

There is a logo, but it does have audio. It's also displayed for multiple seconds, whereas the delay is somewhere around 300-700ms. Oh well, I guess I could always try to figure it out by estimating, although I would have preferred a more precise solution.

I just tested some things and it turns out that it's definitely the first .vob (which contains both the logo and the first part of the main movie btw.) that's causing me all this trouble. The audio delay only occurs when I index the DVD starting from the first .vob. Likewise, I only have to use ComplementParity when the first .vob is involved. Not sure what to make of this.

I want Morning Musume to do a sci-fi concept album like 3030, Dr Octagon, ELO Time, Janelle Monae.

Let them make a movie to accompany it, like Idlewild, Purple Rain, etc.

Well, that's my dream.

Encode them separately, and mux them together, that usually works.

It shouldn't be too bad, even though Hirano can be a little boring with her anecdotes, the actual show itself is quite watchable... of course I've been watching for years now so your mileage may vary.

I have finally found a way to solve the problem. All I had to do was to open the .vobs in DGIndex, and instead of indexing the files from the very beginning, I clicked the > and [ buttons once to jump a few frames ahead and then saved the project. Afterwards, it was business like usual. The audio delay is gone and using ComplementParity wasn't necessary anymore, either. Still, thanks for all the help. ♥

Hi, poster from another board here:

I don't know much about what causes drama on /jp/, because I don't visit here all that often. Heck, I don't really know much about /jp/ in general or what you like.

All I know is that when I first browsed through your board the only thing that really caught my eye was the idol threads. There's something very cute and refreshing about them all, and as a result I like to pop by every so often to check them out.

So when I'm bored of arguing about whatever on other boards, it's nice to read about and look at cute girls doing cute things. I have no idea if that's what an idol thread is about, it's just what I do with them.

You see the problem with people like you is the fact that you think this board never had any resemblance of structure. Which isn't surprising because your only prerogative when posting here is to both hate and troll on those in the Musume thread.

>what this thread is about
Your short sight thinking and projection of my presence is right on track as usual. I have no interest in protecting or destroying what is happening in this "Where is the MM thread" that has been resurrected by the same individuals time after time.

What I am protesting is the premise that these topics have ever meshed up or belong together. They never have, and whatever collection of people are posting here are only doing so out of collective shelter. These people have no legitimate commitment to /jp/ and the board quality. They are going to continue doing what they always have done, never changing, and providing nothing other than their dedication to casual posting and their immediate interests. I have no problem with at all, it's very clear they are going to do what they are going to do.

What I have a problem with, is obvious and very much identified enemies of both /jp/ and the old threads waltzing in on topics they have trolled countless times before and attempted to destroy multiple times and then present their own interests as some sort of legitimate bridge to what is next in line.

Well fuck your attempts to distort the path of /jp/'s history. No matter how many times you pretend to play the victim around here it will never be genuine because I fundamentally understand your agenda, the people you associate with and what your vision of both /jp/ and idols should be.

>> No.7433314

>>7433096
>Now this seems like a personal blog for attention whores.
This is essentially the pseudo-forum/avatar hybrid that used to be rejected in the past but brooded and was reinforced both through /jp/'s horrible trip fag culture and those outside cultures of which they are originated from.

It's also a symptom of smaller user based threads and curiosity of those posting in them. It's one thing to answer a few brief questions to help bring some clarity on anons background and where he is coming from with an opinion, and entirely different one in which one sets up the entire method of communication in the thread as a means to have off topic small talk and pleasantries. It becomes an issue when those people slowly become more and more demanding of their right to have these normal fag discussions (for reasons explained above)

But at the end of the day, for all of those who understand /jp/'s moderation history and endless struggles on this board to remove very clear same trolls from the board, in a situation where not only is a janitor not ever remotely guaranteed and moderation is fully hands off/summer mode. There is absolutely few options one can exercise to even stimulate the types of board changes an entire board needs without a whole host of moderator/administrative assisted goals for the board. You can only move forward on /jp/ with the very minimal expectations that someone in that administrative office has an ultimate goal for the board.

Without it, we directly witness what /jp/ has become, a shit collector, essentially.

Not only are you an unabashed self-victimizer and compulsive liar, but you seem to have forgotten that at current time the Captcha layout consist of a legitimate word extracted from a book scan, accompanied by a made-up software-generated word which makes no sense at all and therefore no combination like this is likely to occur, even given infinite letter permutations.
How ironic that after your endless walls of text full of nothing, your baseless accusations to random John Does and all the scapegoating for you failure as a human being, you decided to end this dramatic act with yet another lie.
You delude yourself to such an extent, you aren't even aware of what you're doing anymore.

Which is a shame because he used to be a good friend of /jp/ and threads but was corrupted by tyranny and power.

>you decided to end this dramatic act with yet another lie.
Hardly, this process albeit bumpy because these people are so unaware of the activities all around them is unadulterated truth, the truth about true character, intentions, content creation and to the spirit of renewing change.

There is something that will never change, the wretched-ness from which your character originates from and dabbles with to guide your actions and conscience. You will find it lead you where you have been going all this time, down questionable, unethical, mean spirited and drug laced spiritual abysses. So much so to render you blind and misguided in those you seek out comfort most.

>but it's a futile effort to convince them to leave voluntarily
That's not just a problem with the old threads, that's the essential problem with 4chan, it's twisted & complex to both monitor and execute hybrid/partial methods of moderation. Having some experience in it myself, I can fully understand the absolute frustration and eventual disdain that some of the moderators must go through. But hey, we know that the users want to have a better board experience, it is Moot who is such an insider with allowing those into the moderation circle as well as notoriously absent from making sure boards stay on course.

What do you want after 7+ years, clearly with the addition of /soc/ and the destruction of his old base /r9k/, he clearly is distancing himself from his connection to the base, periodically checking in with /b/.

>It resembles Wolf's decay
It's more an symptom of japanese cycles. Thankfully I do not suffer from either extreme but it has been pretty interesting watching the adjustments of the mentalities. I mean the long time fans who were there for good reasons are the ones who don't flinch and carry on during cloudy weather.

>Long live the olden week long threads!
I miss the old six wota days a bit but personally I enjoyed those numbered threads too because we really were reaching outside of the board as well. And we knew we had a friendly janitor or occasional mod presence dropping by to see things through. There really was a sense of community both with the moderation and "cloud" that was moving in and out of the thread at various times.

>> No.7437580

>>7437575 Continued

>but I fear that your work is in vain
Nah, it's never in vain because what I had always envisioned was connecting the threads to something larger, something that permeated borders. Ultimately it became a type of thread that required a type of fan that simply wasn't consistently coming through /jp/ anymore. Not only that, the naivety of the ones that did casually post in these threads became so disconnected with what it actually took to have a form of moderated /jp/ that will most likely never occur again. This required a large degree of diplomacy, both behind the scenes and directly on the battle field. After all you of all people should know absolutely dug in, idol fans can become and we all witnessed the public hate campaign that kicked around H!P's name in Japan. It is a degree of viciousness that crossing multiple levels.

I really learned a lot and enjoyed operating threads without the same power hungry tools that board administrators and forum mods utilize each day, it takes more dedication and iron clad focus to tackle issues. And most of all it keeps your intentions and goals in check as well.

>What do you mean by that? Getting H!O newcomers?
Hardly, H!O hate was the creed of the the threads in the first two years. I'm speaking more to every thing in between, 2ch, translator sites, various international sites.

Not getting into deeper specifics, it can just be said that we have known that a lot of various sites (even the shittiest) had people that were cool on them and brought different perspectives. I know for fact that moderators and various admin have traveled in and out of the thread.

Think of it sort of like a "anonymous sovereign nation," one in which had very /jp/ originating edicts but offered the free speech platform of anonymous posting. Obviously this can go either way, both allowing the worst of the worst to brush through but also some of the cooler people tired with the old forum hierarchies and played out social environments.

I mean this is all elementary 4chan mechanics but I feel it necessary to describe it deeper to distinctly distinguish ourselves from the operation of the kids threads.

>don't know you, but when I started the whole numbering and linking business I was just copying 2ch

Umm, that was a collective process, it may have had it's roots in 2ch but it mostly was for the old users to use the extension to both find the thread and for trolls/haters to block it easily. It turned out to be a funny and mistyped title because for some reason the original one was catching in the extension...or something along those lines, I have never used the extension and don't filter anything, ever.

A foreword: I might come off pedantic and attention whoring in this post.

I was the one who urged the rest of the wotas to start linking the threads and later start numbering them. Of course that after a while I wasn't the only one pushing those "reforms" but I can still claim to be the OP of Part1 of the famous thread chain.
And you are right, the thread watcher doesn't like any kanjis in its thread titles; when you close firefox and reopen it, all watched threads are gone. That's why it's (or was) モームス instead of モー娘。

>operation of the kids threads.
I can't say that I know of their operation, I just made the first threads to get it running and left it to its own devices. Yes, while I'm showing off my e-penis I will also add that I started the Kids' thread chain. None of those junior idol loving rabble would make one themselves and were constantly soiling the thread so I took the matter into my own hands.

I see your stance, and I mostly share you views about the "golden age" of the threads moderated mainly via self-administration. Now, I ask you what are you trying to accomplish. Just defending the purity of the threads by disallowing the use of the thread title for the random idle chat? It's a rewardless task.

And damn you anon, you've made me go into nostalgia mode ;_;

I'll just say it is a little interesting considering the particular positioning of some old fags in the threads to so jubilantly take reward for the first numbered thread.

Stating so, on the basis that half to all of the old wotas would complain continuously about the notion of numbered threads. Funny how you mention the notion of e-peen waving. Well to be perfectly clear, and notably noting, the notion of the thread numbering has never in disingenuous nature played its hand on the mere notion of its continuous or self expected nature of being rewarded for mere presence or part stacking. (It has always been about board vision)

That being said, it does enjoy the title of possibly being the longest continually ran, moderated and executed thread in 4chan's history. Perhaps with a few /tg/ threads in their broader essence making a longer run.

>Just defending the purity of the threads by disallowing the use of the thread title for the random idle chat? It's a rewardless task.

This mostly has nothing to do with purity but ultimately leadership. It is more to do with the how do you say it, "live and let be" mentality I ultimately developed with the old thread. A dichotomous move that splits the mentality of those who swiflty swear off the numbered threads nature and those who can see it's power and capability of progressing the overall idol community.
And if you are the same old OP that I am thinking of based on your comments (Gaki wota?!), I have praised your old approach in the past, yet I know that you had never envisioned something along the lines of what I had crafted.
The decision to retire the thread's title to all of those in the know is as fleeting as to create a new thread pack as witnessed on 2ch day after day.
>and were constantly soiling the thread so I took the matter into my own hands.
This is a similar theme to my directing of the threads here.

Nintendo is more reliable for new ideas than probably any other game developer out there. I always laugh when people call the next Zelda or Mario or whatever a rehash, when in fact they are always vessels for some of the most genuinely experimental game play you'll see.

>only matching PS360 in power
To quote Reggie, "it has the power to display current-gen games in 1080p". If that's true, I'm going to be more than happy. It seems unlikely that we are going to see a huge technological leap with the PS4 and X720 when they come out (just more social bullshit and gimmicks), so the WiiU won't be a generation behind everybody else like the Wii is now. However, I'm a bit disappointed that it won't upres old games, but that's probably asking for too much.

Overall, I was very pleased with Nintendo's conference since they've actually shown some games instead of CGI trailers and gun/tank simulators. Sony's was pretty average. I liked the Uncharted 3 footage, but I'm still worried the game will focus too much on multiplayer and singleplayer will become an afterthought. I'm also surprised that the PSV is actually affordable. Though it won't sell regardless. Time to become a Nintendo fanboy.

Thanks for the offer, but I've found a compilation video of the most important Aya-moments of the episode on Youtube, so I'm good.

I liked the dubbing part as well, but didn't care much about everything else. I wish they would have shown more of her room, though I suppose no one wants to see all those sextoys and used condoms lying around in plain sight. Also, "I have no intention of getting married"... I'm not surprised.

Not much really, just some Pop-Rock (Monkey Majik, Radwimps) and Rock/Jazz (Tokyo Jihen, Shiina Ringo). As for older music - the only artist in my library with releases prior to 1995 is Yamashita Tatsuro. Other than that, I really enjoy listening to video game and drama/movie soundtracks. I haven't been listening to any Western music at all recently, but in my somewhat-normalfag high school days, I liked Tool and A Perfect Circle. I also listened to Visual Kei a lot back then.
