What are the chances another Touhou-Photoshooter is going to come out this year?

Not good I think
I think we could expect one AFTER Touhou 13 or maybe even 14.
Touhou 13 will be released this year which means that 14 would be released next year or maybe even the year after that.
Chances are good that ZUN dies before he can even start making one

Almost zero. Wait a year or two or three until we get another, if we get another. Expecting Sakuya for high/top tier again.

About missing characters, the only thing that annoys me is how the Internet says they wanted to include Wriggle and Nitori in the game, but couldn't because there wasn't enough time. Well, three or so years have passed and they're still not out, which might mean that they're pretty hard to code.

MegaMari was tasofro's last good game.
The only reason you think you like soku is because it has touhou characters.

Nah, I should have stated "pic unrelated". But I wouldn't mind having Chen or Ran playable as separate characters either.

I was thinking of Satori/Koishi, possibly someone from the IN cast, Yuugi too.
Personally, I'd enjoy pic related the most. Her STG mechanics are a good base for some creative fighting gimmicks.

I actually like the idea of a sort-of-TCG-based fighter, in which you can freely change your moveset on the fly through cards, even though it's a bit too random as well. Fucking typhoons everywhere.

He was speaking in terms of actual in-game attacks and such, not plot powers. What was said basically amounted to there not being enough time to balance whatever moveset was assigned to them; they might have had weird animations, or funky play styles like Suwako that would have made a balance attempt take far too much time and effort to be viable; they may not even have been completed. Same story for Wriggle and Nitori. If he had meant that statement in terms of actual plot powers, Yukari wouldn't be playable thanks to overpowered.

Of course, the fact that no patch is out by now that adds in Wriggle, Nitori, Mokou, and Kaguya makes the whole thing more frustrating.
