AoC2 isn't that hard to learn - you can join to rooms where rushing is forbidden for 1 hour and you will play in team, and it isn't very expensive (you can play with no-cd version if you had AoE2, but cant find your CD)

I love BF. I had once match lasting for 6-7 hours, 2v2.

I won when I managed to get enough gold for artillery to break enemy lines.

And a lot of 4+ hours long ones.

I actually love all the real world maps, too bad no one ever wants to play them.
Other than that, land maps are more to my liking, as land + sea requires too much skill, and I'm only an average player.

If we get more than 2 people, we could play Japan, Byzantium or even Scandinavia next time.

really when i played BF no-rush games its always the same; Build up an army of villagers to flatten the lesser resources, send them to farm/cut trees, do that until you have a nice pile of 300k of each, throw all of the villagers at the enemy wall while your 6-pack of barracks/archery ranges churned out the wood/food units (sappers is an exceptionally useful civ tech to have for this), and then go on with that until someone gets bored and turns the tide with a few more advanced units

Yeah I'm just living life the best I can right now because I know how bad things will get once I get to the upper 20's and beyond. Even though my life goes like this. During the week: Wake up, do whatever entertains me, exercise for an hour at same hour every day, go back to do the same, sleep, repeat.
