I'm high intermediate and I don't count frames. I doubt even Magister does. And combos are RIDICULOUSLY easy in this game, plus it's relatively new, so people hesitate to claim a large amount of skill since they likely haven't played enough to know how they stand compared to others.

Due to Komachi's ridiculously large 2a range in air, it's very easy to end up going just behind the person as it starts up, making it almost impossible for them to block. That, and it's great at catching people if they try to dash under, obviously.

Kinda feels cheap to me, but it's the best way I've found to play Komachi that doesn't involve running away, something I hate doing in any game.

Super Armor and No Melee are a tide changers, if you know what you're doing. I usually ignore the others, but which ever one that saps your cards on knockdowns should be watched for carefully. So many disrupted strategies...

I use lots of 5Cs and 623Cs as an advancing screen to protect me while I get in and deliver big scythe hits. I use plenty of coins at mid-close range too to quickly catch people out when they make mistakes and 22Bing people into bullets is always good for a cheap hit.
