Whoa, I didn't quite mean that. I mean, at one point I did have #/jp/meetup running, and had quite a few people that enjoyed my daily threads. I was just saying that I have seem to have made quite the impression on certain haters.

Althoug at one point the channel had 15+ regular users from here, it is also the main reason, or at least the root cause of all the hate for me.

I don't think I have the time to start it back up again though if someone else did I would defiantly join in and help when I could.

That, however, had nothing to do with them. Instead of going along their own businesses, they went out of their way to hate you. I'd say you have no blame here, and if you want to start the channel again, I would most certainly spent some quality time there.

I don't understand. What do you mean by "manage"? Are you worried that something bad will happen while the channel isn't under your watchful eye? We can work our way around that by nominating moderators you trust.

Or do you simply cannot keep the channel up for whatever reason? If it involves leaving your PC on all night, I can do that for you.

Well, it did have its share of attacks from the haters and such, that required a lot of active moderation to keep it under control.

Perhaps the issue is that you were trying to advertise by making entirely new topics? While I see no problem with that, I can see why a moderator would ban you for such a thing.

Perhaps keep it more low-profile? Post the link on a thread here, on another thread there, spread the word out little by little. Don't try to shove it down too quickly, or it'll end up coming back rather unpleasantly, like it was already stated by you.

For now, share it with your old contacts, if you still have any. Start building it up from scratch, without drawing too much attention. Eventually, it'll be back on it's former glory.
