Why is it always the same four touhou's killing people?

Wouldn't it be refreshing to see aya set up some voyeuristic death for some poor sod? I dunno Nue actually do what Nue's did, maybe see some evil oni action there were alot more stories of them being evil.

Suika challenges some poor guy to some assorted tests of mandom, beats him embarassingly and as agreed rapes, murders and eats him, partly while he is still alive to watch.

Why does everyone start with rape before the being eaten? I'd need biologist anon to back me up on this one but out of the animals the touhou are based on only one has that sort of behavioral quirk.

Mostly because some touhoes are way, way more evil than others, both in canon and especially in fanon.

Though you do have a point in that since most of them eat humans, you could reasonably get insane grimdark doujins out of almost any of them.

They used to be evil, but the current Gensokyo is pretty mellow. The named youkai aren't known for eating humans any more (feral youkai are still dangerous). Back in the day, though, yeah, they were eviscerating people and sucking the marrow out of their bones.

Also, you will never see a hentai doujin of Yukari and Yuka smearing entrails on each other and licking them off after massacring a village. ;_;

What about Rumia? Her dialogue seems to suggest she's still in the habit of eating humans. But then, she's probably closer to feral than most other named youkai.

>> No.7214594

>>7214575
It's traditional. Yeah, maybe a century or two ago Rumia would have gone around eating people and the shrine maiden would have sealed her away forever if she won, but nowadays the youkai just go through the rituals but drink tea afterwards instead because that's how things are these days.

The man plodded down the straight, lonesome road, kicking up clouds of dust as he shuffled his feet while carrying the heavy basket of rice on his back. He was drenched in sweat; it had been a hot and humid summer. Although he had thought to wear a headband, it had long since been soaked and rivulets were beginning to seek his eyes. He pulled a scrap of cloth stuck through his belt out and mopped his brow thoroughly, leaning against a tree to rest. When he brought the cloth down, he spotted figure down the road, barely in view. He gave his forehead another wipe and used his hand to shield his eyes from the overbearing sun as he tried to get a better look at the approaching figure. It was gone. It must have been hotter than he realized.
"What are you doing?"
Startled, the man turned around. Standing there was a young woman with an umbrella, wearing what looked like a fabulously elegant kimono, though the design was like nothing like he had ever seen. Despite the heat and dust, she was eerily free of sweat or dirt.
"Ah... I... uh..." the man stammered before composing himself. "Just carrying rice home, miss." The young lady hadn't taken her eyes off him or blinked since he turned to face her and her expression was disconcertingly blank. It didn't seem like it was emotionless for the moment; it seemed like emotions were a totally alien concept to her. After a few moments without a response, the man grew uneasy. "Ah... heh... It's close to supper time, you know... miss..."

"I suppose. I haven't eaten in several decades."
The man became wide-eyed as he was taken aback by the unusual remark, but he tried not to show any other surprise. Unnerved by the young lady, his superstitious mind began racing. Was she playing a trick on him? Or was she some sort of nature deity or something? He carefully formulated a response that should cover both possibility with a minimum of embarrassment and offensiveness.
"Haha, well, a simple farmer like me feeds his fwife and child three times a day so we can get all the work done, miss." He rubbed the back of his head.
The young lady seemed surprised by his remark. Her surprise quickly turned into a smirk that made the man's soul feel like it was writhing in a terror his mind couldn't comprehend.

The young lady continued down the lonesome road, licking her lips. She brought a finger to her chin and laughed melodically before catching a red rivulet that escaped from her mouth with her tongue. "Three times a day..." She laughed again. "How delightfully decadent!" She reached into a pocket that hadn't been there a moment before and pulled out a watch as she continued following the man's intended path.

She is civilized enough if you don't fuck with flowers and/or try to piss her off.

>> No.7214699

Yes but if you bring that up in a canon debate you will get filled with hate comments and ignores due to people not liking PMiSS being used against them (the whole ZUN said Akyuu was an unreliable narrator shit that people exaggerate), their psycho antisocial Yuka perception mustn't be harmed.

>> No.7214702

She's known for scaring the tits off of people because she smiles. All the time.

Though yes, she's also pretty aloof about people as long as they don't start shit or mess with her flowers. That's just begging to be fucked up.

It's also said that if you're strong enough, and she realizes it, she might try to start a fight, because she likes fighting.

Did ZUN actually say that? The part about Akyuu, being unreliable.

Also yeah, Yuka doesn't randomly slaughter people unless you fuck with her flowers.

>> No.7214859

>>7214855
Yes, Akyuu is unreliable because she hasn't really met some of the people she writes about, and is just going off stories.

>> No.7214920

In that case it's not Akyuu that's unreliable, it's the people who tell her the stories.
If she writes the stories as she hears them then she's reliable.

No, that's Aya, though she does that with Gensokyo's popular places instead of people. She disses people for their acts even.
