Not entirely related, but I hate doujin games or VNs with artist collaborations. You tend to end up with one really good artist and one really bad one. It always feels really out of place when multiple characters done by different artists are on screen at the same time.

Really annoyed me when I played that Sengoku Touhou game. Playing Monmusu now and theres one artist that looks like it was done by someone's little sister. Kind of awkward when it gets to h-scenes with those characters.
