Makoto Hirasaka. I just love those fat fairies. And there's something about how Remilia is drawn in that style that I absolutely adore, but I can't put my finger on it.

His work was hilarious to me mostly because it looked kind of derpy when he drew it, which somehow made it work. Now it's kind of a derivative of that or more like he actually took the time to draw things perfectly, which does indeed make it feel different. I still like Bkub nonetheless though.

I'm a fan of Sankuma's various drawings.

But how exactly do you define someone to be a "touhou artist"?
Do you define it as someone who, at any time, has drawn any amount of touhou material? Or rather, someone who only draws touhou material?

All of his art I've only seen on Gelbooru and I find it all very endearing and sweet.

77gl, karaagetarou, wei (he's tagges as wei_(hoshieve) on sites like Gelbooru) and amaneko. I simply love the way they draw stuff. Most of their drawings are poster worthy. There's a lot more artists I love, but I'm just saying what I can name at the top of my head.

I don't skip a day when I'm checking Colonel AKI's page for an update to Life of Maid, I talked to Little Shrimp a couple of times, he's a pretty cool guy, and his works are different in a rather amusing way.

as long as it doesn't brew up a shit-storm, might i ask what drama happened in regards to littleshrimp, i must've taken a mental vacation during that.

I like colonel aki's work because of it's cuteness, but for the art that I am most attracted to (dark,depressing) I could never find a solid artist.

I am also unable to find any artist I always like works from, some I like more of, others may produce things i mostly dont care for and then pop out a gem that makes me want to save it faster than I can finish wiping the drool off my face

though noteable artists are: of course Sayori, pretty awesome stuff and the way she tweaks costumes make my heart skip a beat often.

Garland's pool with the Yakumos tromping around earth post-whatever disaster may of happened is breath-taking but he makes the resolutions too small, this frustrates me.

Yanagi the artist is neat in its super-deformed respects, and man, his obsession with Suika...

Colonel Aki's way with making silent comedy 4komas is pretty awesome, I occasionally peer in there to see what's new.
