And still we find ourselves on the cusp of a new Era,
with 9th Generation announcement forthcoming in just less than 2 days, we shall see the new face of Morning Musume.

We went through some insanely tough times but we also had some really amazing fun. Japan Expo in the summer capturing the international spirit and world wide excitement for Musume. And more recently we watched as Eri, Jun and Lin walked off the stage for the last time.

I like all of the 9th Gen girls and only think that Erina may be the problem starter, Riho will be interesting to watch how she gels into the lineup and Kanon will probably be the most funny girl.

The pictures you are pointing out are from the Fashionable summer event, where there was an audition to see who would be involved. Riho was one of the winners, she sings just a little bit in that play.

No it wasn't. Aina was too plain, not a great singer, decent dancer. Very pretty style to her but nothing that dynamic, nothing you'd say this girl could take this and turn it into something special.

I think people need to take some more time and look at how Fukumura specifically was selected and why she fits in with 9th Gen.

It has some real down the road potential, I think bringing in Fukumura will help bring in some more discipline and variability into the new generation too.

When I first watched the Audition Special, I thought that Aina had a shot at it. But after a few watch throughs, I know it is such limited information in those specials I saw all the upside of Erina. She just needs some solid discipline and good leadership.

With Aina, I don't know where she would of fit in. It really feels like these 9th Gen girls each can stand on their own to a certain degree which is great.

I think that is one of the best things about these picks and the current atmosphere within Musume. It is a group helmed by Ai-chan who is really supportive and now with the Pandas and Eri gone there is a certain new feel or at least new path forward.

I really think that Gaki-san will be the next to graduate.

Concert recording is much better for Kikka's first break. It was good, you know she reminds me a little bit like Abe-san honestly.
