I think I like older sister more. I'd feel bad going for an imouto, it's like abusing the fact that you're older and you know more, even if she thinks it's okay.

I have sister 8 years my senior.
I would prefer a younger sister in general, as I do have a year younger cousin I had a crush on, who for some time was something like a younger sister for me.
But an older sister would be fine as well, as long as it's something like 1-3 years older - 8 is just too much of a gap.

Being an older brother, little sisters are never all sparkles and rainbows. It's oh-so-wondafah seeing your sister mature, but probably because of my disposition, my sister has turned into a spoiled brat, who has tantrums for attention and for my parents, it's her way or the highway. My parents are pushovers, and she manages to warp and manipulate them to her heart's content. I do as much as I can, but I can't change somebody's personality.

It's kind of horrible on my end. Being the relaxed older brother, I've just kinda let her go through life, and she's discovered her own interests (horses and Nickleback).
