The face is a pretty big factor in making a figure/statue likeable or not. Example, the GSC Rin coming out based on the UBW promo art. The first version had a DERP face which basically threw off the otherwise excellent sculpt of the figure, the newer version has a better looking face in line with the art and it looks amazing.

What's a good way to clean dust off figures? Someone posted a link to some sort of brush off amazon awhile back that looked like it may have been pretty handy. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's pretty hard cleaning it off using conventional methods, especially if the dust has been there for awhile. Air dusters aren't really sufficient unless you do it very frequently.

I'm the complete opposite, I didn't like Kohaku..her poisoning of the family for revenge even after the father died was a little weak. Why she would go all out on destroying the Tohnos despite the man who ruined her being dead and those who remained being children who were in similar situations to her seemed to be a little dumb to me.

Keine is on backorder right now, same as Mokou. The shots make it look pretty good, better than previous figs at least. Not a very expensive figure, from the shots it looks like a 100USD fig.

It's because the Keine statue is very pretty while Mokou is.. not so good. It's much better than some of Griffon's previous works, I mean I like the hair and the pose a lot, but yeah as was said it's all about the face. With all the potential awesome poses / effects that they could have done but didn't, and with the face being so.. plain, it's just a damn shame that she isn't up to par with Keine.

Maybe it's just that Griffon's sameface, incidentally, looks pretty much like Keine's face.. and so Keine looks great.

Whatever the case it's apparent that Griffon is still hit-and-miss.. Suika is fucking amazing on one hand, imo the best thing Griffon's ever done and the best Suika I've ever seen.. however then they went and did that Momiji. Do figures get really oily fast? I've been reading some care guides and they make it seem like I need to keep them in an air sealed container with air purifiers all around my room in a pitch black closet just to make it last a few years.

I'd apreciate anons with experience chiming in on this. Right now my fig is boxed. My room is carpeted, there is never any UV light in here, and the temperature is around the low 70's F all the time. The only thing thats worrying me is dust as I have carpeted floors. Will dust be a figure killer or is it fine to keep her on my computer desk and dust her every week or so?

Figure was 8000 yen, so I'd expect it would be great quality.
