Didn't really have one. I played MMX aswell but I didn't find Zero to be a badass until he got his saber in the later series. Best secrets of the games had to be the Hadoken in #1 and X gaining the Z-Saber in #3.

I was completely insane as a child. I read a bunch of stuff about communism and Che Guevara eventually became my hero. I read everything about him and then made a plan to start a revolution in Ukraine (don't ask). I'm amazed at the ambition I had.

I don't know if it was really my "hero", but I always admired him a lot.

I had too many heroes during my childhood.
One of them was Metabee from Medabots, and I liked to pretend I could do the Metaforce, also Goku and Gohan.

But mainly, and even at this point I consider him awesome, is X. Megaman X series are the shit, brofist op.

The bosses, well some of them would be pretty obvious. We can just related the elements which the respective touhou. And for those without element we can brush it off with something related to the touhou power. For example Cyber Peacock could be Yukari.

As for Iris, pretty much anything really works. I'd go for Rumia just because the 'WHAT AM I FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOORWARGHTH" scene just becomes all the more amusing.

I really don't mind the "difficulty" of X6 (which is actually just a rushed and badly done game), but there are lot of things to exploit that makes it easy too.

For example Zero with that shield up attack at the speed of light destroying bosses in literally 3 seconds. The fact that the game was not made properly with decent planning makes it shit.

Yoshi, Chocobo, Protoman. I had (and still have I think) this strange preference for support characters and cute characters.
